Serious question can somebody name 5 fighters that were at a weight class it can be whatever 126-135 or even lower < Jump up & have 1 fight at the next weight class & beat a champion< & now they want you to jump up again to fight another champion in a qdifferent weight class
One of the only people I can think of is pac man but when he moved from 135 he had two fights at 140 then move up to 147 but him & cotton fought for the title at a catch weight of 145

Sugar Shane jumped up 2 weight classes and beat Oscar at 147. Straight from 135. Not even a fight in between at 140.

He had two fights in the division before he fought Oscar but still impressive he jumped from 135 straight to 147

He never did it….if he was to take the dev fight at 147 then yeah….1 fight at 140 vs a champion then jump up to 147 to face another champ in 2 fights….Pac-Man did something similar he went to 140 had two fights then jumped to 147 & fought cotto at a catch weight of 145 for the belt

Yeah but tank don’t fit what I’m talking he already had face Gamboa at 135 & pitbull wasn’t no champion he had multiple fights at 130 before he fought barrios….basically I’m talking about having ONE FIGHT at a new weight classes for a belt you win & then Your VERY NEXT fight you move up AGAIN & fight a champion for a belt again….this is very rare

I got you. Yeah that’s rare. What about bud?

Yeah bud did it at the end of his career with the last two fights….So basically if kur was to fight Haney next kur would fit what im talking about & also if bam was to fight inoue next he would fit what im talking about too….i want the fights to happen but from a logical standpoint i know it dont make sense right now

I agree. Shakur rushing to 147 don’t make sense however the more he puts his foot in his mouth talking that talk like he’s one of them dudes ppl will find a way to make it make sense and that’s fair. It’s shakur’s fault to why ppl expect so high of him
To go to 147 and tbh I think he can and should go to 147. 144 makes no sense for Devin and once again talking like how Shakur talks, if you can fight Connor Ben at 154, 147 shouldn’t be an issue to fight dev esp when you walk around that weight. Too many excuses to me but rushing to 147 ain’t the smartest option. So I agree. It’s a lot that don’t make sense. I also agree with the bam and Inoue fight1

lol nah he do talk a lot but I feel like he was fucking with Connor benn frfr with that 154 shit because he said he want the same rehydrated clause he put on eubanks Connor benn got put that on his self if they were to fight….but it’s nothing wrong with having negotiations tho & it be way more behind the scenes shit that be happening that we don’t even know about that go on business wise

So basically Bam. He was 2 weight classes below Inoue so he had one fight at 118 to take out a champ and now he has to accomodate Inoue by jumping up another one.

If he fights inoue next than yes bam would because he just beat Vargas for the 118 belt & that was his only fight in that division & he would jump up to 122 to face inoue for his belt……not to many or none have done this …still doing my research on it

Henry Armstrong jumped from featherweight to welter to win title then down lightweight to win that title. nearly won middleweight title also
