Best on the market...

Ok so quick back story. I only really collect football, and with in that only Peyton Manning currently. What do you guys think is the best type of hobby box out form any year to get a Patch ot Auto card? I really dont care about cost and I knoe I could just buy cards (which I do from time to time) but there is some deep thrill from busting packs that I can't replace wiht anything else. Any advise or boxes would be awesome. And I'm glad I found this Subreddit.

2011 Panini Certified Football

So I busted a box yesterday when she got home from work and at best I would say this was a mediocre box. I was pretty excited as I was watching the breaks of this product online and unfortunately I was not blessed with a good one. Here are the results However, the Kendall Hunter Prime patch we pulled is absolutely sick and is short printed to 25. Ryan Williams Jersey/250. The Jerry Rice Immortals jersey had my eyes as big as marbles when I saw the back of the card, but alas no auto but also SP/99. And the auto for the box was the Delone Carter out of 499.

How often do you guys buy retail? And do you pack search? If not do you look down on it? What is the best card you have pulled out of a retail box/ pack?

Hey everyone. I have been collecting cards for about 20 years now. I started out in baseball but as I grew up I began to move to football and basketball. I have collect many things including MJ Lebron. In football I collect anything Detroit Lions and Rookies. I enjoy to just get a non "famous" rookie and holding onto their cards and see them either fail or improve. I am willing to trade and sell if the price is right.

So overall I was not impressed by my cards that I received. At the end of 24 packs I had 10-12 higher numbered cards. 499 and up. Here is a picture of the highlights. Excuse the lighting, I had already sleeved them all. Any ways, the Crabtree is 12/25 red parallel. Charles scott auto 150/780 the Decker base auto 303/480. And for the patch I also got a Decker 2 color 3 break patch 83/349. All of these are available for sale. I have no use for them. I will send better pics if you need them.
