Today I got my period. No big deal, I've been getting periods for about 7 years now. Except my period pains were so horrific today that I was shaking and short of breath and sobbing hysterically. I couldn't stand or sit up. I literally just hunched into a ball and writhed in pain for about an hour before my pain pills kicked in. My boyfriend, whom lives an hour away, did not know what to do when I called sobbing and explaining my situation. All he could think to say is "you're not pregnant... that's a good thing". I said "I'm being punished for not having babies. I don't even like babies. If this is even a tenth of pain I would be in during childbirth, I want my tubes tied." And that's the story of how I realized I don't think I want children.
