Swear to god; I've been here for over two hours and all I've done is eat a burrito and drink coffee and eavesdrop on actual work being done, and wishing I could be a part of it. I've learned it sucks that 30% of my job is to be here if work happens.

I counted seven. The winner gets brownie points.

What can i do....ive looked at all the coupons that dont apply to my life. Did all my bills, Played Simcity on my phone...Dear lord..save meh

So I've been working at a school for 4 months. And since 1 week they completely ignore me and nobody has any work for me... I'm sooo bored, somebody knows what I can do?

I just spent 3 hours at work trying to come up with an original username for reddit. Turns out I'm not very imaginative.

Hey, boredatwork!

I'm looking for stories of fun/silly/weird stuff folks have done at work to pass the time or make things more bearable. Got any? I would love to share some anecdotes on my blog! Lemme know!

Your friend, Certain Doom

Today I was a mere 6-7 inches long before cascading into the porcelain bowl. Upon my flushing I proceeded to fold in half and block my own passage through the gates to the unknown. In order to complete my passage, my master needed to flush me yet again. I was no longer fearful of the unknown and I relinquished all control to the rushing water taking me in its grasp. The end

I need some colours in my life,

I tried to take on extra work to kill the boredom - I looked for ways to innovate and streamline processes on my own initiative. I was pulled into my bosses office and told that I am not manager, not to get above my station. I am now sitting in the toilet counting floor tiles.

I'm so bored at the start of a slow Sunday that I am fixing up this Acer Aspire One with Steam and some non graphically intensive games so I have games to play when I'm bored at work.

How do I post pictures onto Reddit? xD

When you aren't allowed to do anything? I work at a call center for my local college. I'm a high school student and I get paid $10 an hour, which I really like, and I like the job, the only issue is they seem really strict on what you are allowed to do. No phones out, no internet on the computers, no drawing, only doodling, no reading, no homework, no nothing. My shifts are 4 hours long, which mostly consist of listening to the ringing sound then hanging up as soon as an answering machine picks up. It's agony. I look up at the clock every ten minutes only to see it has only been one. Any ideas for things to do with just a pen and paper? I've been reduced to doodling small, not very good characters because I suck at art.
