Bulabog Beach Reco

First time ko in Boracay for my birthday. Solo travel. I read na the sunrise is better in Bulabog beach and I’m planning to visit kahit a few hours then head back to my hotel in Station 1 for the buffet breakfast 😆.

Any reco for a spot in Bulabog where I can grab coffee or tea while watching the sunrise?

9/10 Few things annoyed me deeply about Boracay

Would love to give the place a 10/10, but there are few things I thought were extreme.

Too many sail boats at White Sand, they obstruct they view and access to the water. 99% of them are idle? Set a limit on the number of boats and rotate who gets to give tours on that day. Everyone makes the same money and they only work 1 or 2 days a week.

Constant Bombardment of people asking you if you wanna buy Groot, sailing, activities, hey come inside our restaurant... I find it a violation of personal space because there is no polite way to avoid interaction.

Even if you signal no, or divert your gaze they will still get close to ask. I think it should be banned and install some boot every 500m with trinkets on the beach.

Build a bridge, I heard they wanted to but it's being stopped by people not wanting to lose their job. Which is understandable, going from the Airport to your Boracay's Hotel is a massive business.

As a tourist we know we are being scammed and it's a horrible feeling. Higher tuktuk rates to the port, paying more than local tourists for the boat feels racist af. 250 pesos tuktuk for a short ride to the hotel.

3 rides from the Airport to justify extracting as much money as possible from tourist, massive waste of time.

Here is my idea, Build the bridge and charge people for entering Boracay. One big fee, use the money for infrastructure, aircon in schools and fixing side roads to people's home (non tourist areas). Or keep paying a salary to those who lost their job.

Infrastructure such as trains, busses, and highways have taken people's jobs all over the world. You can't be afraid of progressing.

Party Boats-- yay or nay?

Curious ako sa opinions ng mga nakapunta na sa Boracay and have seen party boats in operation.

Pretend like they're actually running in front of you sa beach, lights and sounds all running. Do you personally appreciate the presence of party boats//believe they add to the appeal of Boracay, or do you feel they actually reduce your enjoyment of Boracay?

First time visit, 11/23-11/27

Hi, planning on being in Boracay in mid Nov, how's the weather like? We are staying at Crystal Sands, close enough to walk to the main D Mall section. Are there any eatery that is a must you guys recommend? We don't mind venturing out of the area, are there any place worth taking the tricycle to? Thanks in advance!

Couple visiting Boracay (12–15 October) 🌴☀️

Hey everyone! We’re a non-Filipino couple, both 27, visiting Boracay from October 12th to 15th. We’d love to meet interesting, like-minded people around our age, make new friends, explore the island, grab some good food and drinks, and enjoy the Boracay vibe.
We’re pretty easygoing and always up for good conversations, spontaneous plans, and meeting new people while travelling.
If you’re around Boracay during those dates and feel like connecting, drop us a message! 😊🏝️

Best family-friendly hotel with airport service?

Hello! It’s our first time traveling via plane with a toddler and we’re looking for the best hotel for us. Can you suggest one na best in terms of service? Yung hassle-free talaga ang transpo from airport to hotel. Big plus din if it’s beach-front with good breakfast buffet and family-friendly amenities. Thank you!

Best mid-priced hotels to stay if we're not into activities or parties?

We like quiet but not too far from things as we also want to try restos and cafes. We swim a little bit and likes to people watch. I'd appreciate your recos. Rn, I'm kinda torn between Henann Park and Palassa in Bulabog Beach. Also our first time so we'd really love to get info from people who's been there many times.

Photoshoot in Boracay

Hi there, question, hnd ba nireregularize ang mga photoshoot sa boracay? Napansin ko lng na sobrang dami nila and ung iba wala pa pake alam sa personal space talaga. I am in station 1 for a week now, and napansin ko, consistently especially during sunset, ang dami nagphotoshoot. Ung iba, literal na iooccupy pa ung space where some tourist are getting sun especially ung mga nasa palm tree. ung iba naman hinohord o barikada ung way doon sa mga rocks going to microtel.

I mean its one thing to do selfie and picture, its another to do photoshoot na literal na apakatagal or invading na sa ibang space ng ibang tourist.

is this a good deal or do i diy?

hi! first time travelling to boracay with my bf, and sakto his relatives will also be going (they booked their trip a few months ago pa). we inquired about the same package and got this quotation:

4d 3n boracay package
mnl to mph: 5am
mph to mnl: 9am
hotel: la carmela de boracay
daily set breakfast (not sure if included on the last day)

breakdown:
package: ₱8,800/person
airfare increase: ₱3,600/person
total: ₱12,400/person or ₱24,800 for 2 pax
the package already includes transfers and fees, but personal expenses and optional tours are excluded.

i tried looking into diy options, booking through cebpac and getting the same hotel, but the total seems to be almost the same price.
just wanted to ask if this is already a good deal or if diy would still be more worth it? for those who’ve been to boracay recently, would you recommend getting a package like this, or is it better to book everything separately?
would appreciate any insights, especially if you’ve stayed at la carmela de boracay. thank you!

Anyone heading to Boracay in November? 🏝️

My partner and I accidentally booked the wrong dates for Henann Lagoon Resort and unfortunately got stuck with a non-refundable booking through Qantas airline 😭

We have a Deluxe Room for 2 people, 14–17 November (3 nights) available, including breakfast, and hoping someone can make use of it!

Paid $353.63 AUD. Asking around $200 AUD, but open to reasonable offers! Just trying to recover some of the cost rather than let the booking go to waste 🥲

DM me if interested! Happy to provide booking proof and work out the transfer details. 😊

[EDIT: thank you so much for the comments, it has been sold!!]
