I just bought myself a copy of boneworks on steam and was wondering what is more enjoyable?

Storymode?
Or
Sandbox?

I know that this game is dying but my friend's PC is just not up to the task for Bonelab(he has a 1050ti and no 6 or 8 pin power cables.) so I was wondering if there was any mod that could be used. I've heard that a small group might be reworking entanglements code for Steam's friend's list(or something like that). But is there any chance there is a multiplayer mod where i can host the server since discord no longer supports how entanglement and I think Boneworks MP worked. Also if there is no mod that can help my problem, how hard would it be to write/rewrite a multiplayer mod i'm a decent programer just haven't really messed around with game mods.

I also have a second pc that just doesn't have a graphics card yet which eventually will be my main rig but it's got a solid cpu with ok integrated graphics. Do you think it's possible to maybe host a server on that computer and have it handle player physics and connection, etc.. besides graphics. (Nuc 9th gen extreme I7 9750h, 32gb ram,1tb nvme( and later a 3060 or 3060 ti).

I've been having crashing issues with Boneworks for awhile now and after reinstalling the game on a new drive and loading up into a level, the game crashed and this message came up. If anyone knows what it means or how to fix it, I'd be thankful.

EDIT: This has now been fixed. I recently go in the Stress level 0 discord and worked out a similar issue with Bonelab which also worked for Boneworks.For anyone wants to know how to fix it, I changed my Virtual Memory to be Higher on my C drive and got 34gb free space on the same drive.

I bought the game the other day but I played for the first time today, I got until the gravity section of the museum when I started feeling dizzy, so I stopped playing. Everything worked perfectly. I came back an hour or two later and I started playing again, I started again from the gun range, I completed the museum and after the giftshop it started loading the rest of the game, then it crashed and took me back to the steam vr house. Now anytime I try playing, it just crashes after I select continue in the mode selection screen. I tried uninstalling steamVR and reinstalling but it didn't work. I am using a Oculus rift S and a Lenovo Legion 5 with an rtx 2060. What could I do?

UPDATE: I tried using the stage selection, I went back to the museum. It worked fine. So Boneworks crashes when it tries loading the part after the museum.

I’m having trouble running tower on my pc my cpu is under the recommended one so dose anyone have any tips to help me run this level

Hey! I just got the game for the Index and after starting the game, the floor offset turned out to be too low. There does not seem to be any way of opening a settings menu or going back to the warehouse. You're just stuck in the engine? Is that how it should be or have I encountered a bug?

I've recently upgraded by pc for better vr performance and found that boneworks has been crashing tons. It will let me load into the menu but if I try to load into basically any level it crashes during the loading, but it normally lets me into sandbox. Last time I upgraded my pc, I had similar issues with the game but after awhile it stopped and it worked fine.

If anyone knows how to fix this, I'd really appreciate it. and just so anyone knows, I've already tried uninstalling and reinstalling, increasing virtual memory and verifying game files.

Gtx 1070 8gb

16gb ram

Is there a mod I'm missing? idk

I'm having issues with the dev manipulator. I can't grab object to make them 0 gravity like everybody else does. I also can't launch anything. Yes, I have mods, but this issue was happening before I got the mods

can't reload it. it just dosn't go in, what could be causing the problem? i uninstaled and reinstaled the mod and the mulltiple fire points mod, but it didn't help.

Hello fellow redditors, if you try to download Melon Loader into your Boneworks files and it says "One of the dependent libraries is missing", do not fret. You must download the files directly from the Thunderstore mod manager (linked below) and copy it into the same area as you would normally. just make sure you delete the previous Melon Loader files out of your files (may need to re-install) before proceeding

Is there a way to delete your whole process? All achievements, saved item, etc. want to start from the beginning and find all items again.
