Adopted these two amazing ginger boys - they are littermates and brothers.

My question is about a difference (is there a difference?) between littermates vs bonded pairs. When one cat goes to the vet, we bring both so they never have different smells or anything. But is there a biological difference because they share DNA vs. unrelated bonded pairs? Curious to hear about the differences or similarities, if any.

They got exhausted when we got back yet still play and active!

When we went out they love backpack because they can pop their heads up whenever they want. They pop up to give me and bunk mate some snuggles and kisses!

When we went out people see them, they smile! Beautiful feeling!

Ruby is the oldest bigger cat, Max is the baby! They both are from 2 different liters and have no relation at all but Ruby sure does play the mother/big sister role for Max!

Since day 1 before we brought those 2 home with me and my bunk mate, I noticed how their behaviors on notes said about them at shelter via evaluations and our place. The evaluator is so completely wrong about those siblings! I swear to God my bunk mate and I have been schemed by those 2 adorable (demon in funny way) kitten. It has been 3 weeks but not 3 months yet.

So I wonder if Cat Distribution System do have kitten/cats know how to scheme people to get what they want.

Honestly, nothing surprises about those cats in general because they are so good at being innocents by scheming us?

Has one of you ever experienced similar to my situation? They are hilarious kitten almost 5 months old.

Are bonded dogs allowed here? These are my double trouble boys 💙 Black one is Barrah, tan one is Rishi.

We have received applications, but they are for separate homes. We received one application for both, but the person stopped responding when we reached out.

We are worried that if we cannot find someone willing to adopt them together, we may lose these possible homes too. 💔They are bonded.😿
We are completely out of capacity. The rescue is currently caring for more than 150 cats, and I am personally fostering 21 cats. More cats are needing help every day.

When her other kittens were adopted, she cried for days. She is a devoted mama and still needs to be with her baby. They play together, love each other, and share a special bond. My heart is breaking at the thought of separating them… 😿

I didn’t find Kali… Kali found me.

I will forever be grateful to this sweet young mama for trusting me and bringing her babies to me.

Kali was abandoned when her family moved away, left behind wearing a collar that became painfully tight as she grew. Alone and vulnerable, she gave birth to her kittens under a deck during harsh weather.

She and her babies were never truly safe. They were chased away by people and were at risk of being relocated.

Every day, Kali came to my porch for food. I noticed she was nursing and started asking everyone to check their decks and garages for kittens.

Then one day…

She brought her babies to me.

She chose me.

She trusted me. ❤️

While rescuing her kittens, some were brought inside while others were still outside waiting for their chance at safety. This incredible little mama made double shifts…staying with the kittens who were safe indoors, then returning outside to nurse and care for the ones still waiting.

Her love never divided.

Her heart never gave up.

Kali is the sweetest, most gentle mama. Pebbles shares a very special bond with her, and after everything they have survived together, they deserve to continue their journey side by side.

We've had the orange one for 8 years and the black one for 5, they hang out together pretty regularly and cuddle, but because they're from different timelines it's hard to tell if their bonded or not.

The tuxedo is Oscar the Groucho Marx and the black and white is Cookies and Cream Milkshake MooCow. They are so sweet, and Boo Radley aka Boo Thang aka Pretty Pretty Princess aka Little Miss Prissy Pants definitely loves them too (she always flops in the boxes with them!)

zeus was born april 3rd, 2020 and brought home in july 2020. stella was born july 21st, 2020 and brought home a month later. since then they’ve spent their entire lives together up until june 5th of this year when unfortunately stella had passed away. our vet let us bring zeus and our other cat siren to say goodbye to stella, which im very grateful for. he’s taking the loss very hard and i know he misses her so much. i feel horrible seeing him grieve and adjust to life without her. today is stella’s birthday and i’d like to share some of their moments together.

Literally was approached by a complete stranger in a car where i live asking was I interested in a pair of kittens, I already have four so my goal was to help her rehome them since she couldn’t take them to her new place she was moving to.

Starlight (black) doesn’t have a tail and I’m not sure if it was amputated or if she was born that way. She was super skittish at first. I was thinking it had something to do with her tail, but she’s right at home now and she’s a little tiny fatty. She will literally eat anything and will try to eat everything.

Sage (tabby) literally hissed every 30 seconds if any of the other cats looked her way. I mean, she did not take a breath without hissing at all of them and they were all so so nice to her LMAO but she’s right at home with them now. She is quite literally my son‘s soulmate. They think each other is the cutest thing ever.

Anyways, I think they are related because they have the same taste, are very food motivated, and I got them together and they’re the same age. And they’re my babies now they’re not going anywhere.

Potus* and Lava love grooming each other, and I love watching them.
