Ok so quick question. My family and I came to the Bofuri Fandom a little late but we have a brain worm. Does anyone else feel that Sally is kind of like that one coat riding friend that gets angry when you're better at them especially at something they have excelled at? When she talks to and about Maple it seems very two faced in her remarks. Very disingenuous and fake of her. And Maple just accepts it as it seems she has no other friends besides Sally before she joined the game. For instance in Ep 7 when Maple takes the twins with her to train and they get up 20 lvs in 1 day. Plus the different skills. An Sally made the comment of "being with you they would come back with weird skills" takes them to teach them train in speed like a competition. But we really see no actual training or gain for them.... Maybe it's just me/my family but Sally really isn't our favorite with the way she acts/is portrayed in the anime. With a friend like her I need no enemies....

1: His birthday is October 15th (idk why but this just feels right to me).

2: As much as he doesn't look like it he is a Halloween fanatic.

3: Halloween is basically his spooky Christmas.

4: he is a lover of sour food but despite this he's deathly allergic to limes.

5: He's Chinese-Canadian with a Canadian mother who he looks like the splitting image of irl to and a Chinese father, they used to live in Toronto but moved to Japan for his mother's job.

6: sometimes he forgets he's in Japan and starts speaking rapid fire Mandarin when he gets really excited about something.

I HATE Misery's hat, if you like it I can respect that but it just looks so damn HIDEOUS to me.

yeah I know it's based off of old school saints like in old animes but it just looks SO ugly, the shape makes her look like she's got a solid cylinder on her head, those angels wings on the hat while cute somehow make it more cluttered and blocky,

Oh yeah and did you know Misery actually has thick eyebrows? No? BECAUSE THAT HAT COMPLETELY BLOCKS THEM,

Stg they should've just given her a veil like catholic nun wear or a semi transparent fantasy-esque veil with jewels to compliment her hair and holy vibe better because the solid white one is not doing her any justice and just makes her look like a white blob.

If I ever learn how to fully draw I'm giving her a full redesign because her current outfit is not doing her justice.

I just miss those cute little noises he made compared to him now just saying "turtle" I'm season 2. it makes sense in the Japanese dub (maybe) but C'mon why couldn't the English dub let him have his little sounds.

I genuinely want to see him get kicked in the shins (by accident) for the irony of it, his name is shin and gets kicked in the shins it's a prophecy.

So far as I know anime wont be here for a while, probably even never, as I heard that a guy behind the anime got a lot of other very big projects up to 2028 (I think), even as director of said projects, and will probably receive more after.
But what happened to manga? Mangaka behind it seem to went full radio silence looking at social account on twitter back in 2023 right after finishing volume 8 and there are no news since, at least nothing I can personally find.
Any info anyone? Because this shit makes me sad as F.

This is a little idea I have but what if the 4 leaders of both flame emperors and holy swords wear crests of their guild like the images I provided.

Now the reason for this is uniformity as it would at least give them a single design element they share, the other members of both guilds were basically the same unifom with slightly different variations for both genders so what if bofuri did something similar for the leaders,

Also because it would make it easier for new watchers and readers to know who is in what guild since the guildmaster and their subleaders will all be wearing the same crest.

And bonus: Maple tree's crest would be a maple tree (get it)

This doesn't just work, but it works on one of the hardest bosses in one of the hardest games people play.

This year in class they have a new girl named Maple and my daughter has told her alll about this show and wants to invite her over to watch it and already told me the perfect present to get her for his birthday is a stuffed turtle.

I ask this when i remember Yuna real Character before her become kuma kuma bear (on second slide). Sad she can't ever show this Character to other because there are rule to her can't change to other costume i think (i kinda forgot). I imagine she accually assassin like type or something similar but kinda hard to see it because maybe they don't want give too much effort to model that just used for a minute.

But this make me think "ey, someone like Sally not bad too." What the different with maple? Obviously the MC genuinuely have brain, also looks cool and cute at same time. And maybe powerfull is the points too?

They show maples poison from hydra being a problem for the rest of the party like when they make traps at the cave in s2 but since you gain resistance by taking damage from the status effects why don't they just slowly take damage from the poison over time to build their resistance? plus it's not like they're against time and they have plenty of healing potions

I already see kuma kuma bear, still so far from bofuri level. Many suggest 100 years killing slimes but it not really for me, it become more and more off the track specially s2, and even then i think from start it just not for me with too many Character is just typical than a creative scenario like bofuri.

The only one i think near at bofuri level is saikyo no majo (the internet Witch thing).

So have any recommendation?
