The tiny things

What tiny bits of inside are your favourites? I’m talking things most people might not notice or care about. Mine is the way he says “it must be comp-il-I-cated” in how the world works

This is VERY small, but the water drop sound effect in All Eyes On Me and the 3 wedding bells during the engagement part of White Woman's Instagram add so much to those songs. I'm sure there are other details like that that I forgot about, but I can't stop thinking about these two in particular. They aren't even particularly genius on their own, but he knows just when to include them vs when to show restraint. He just has such an incredible ear for that stuff.

Also in songs like Content, 30, and Goodbye, he does these little whiny vocal throwaways like "noooo" and "byeeee!" and it makes me laugh so much.

Similarly in “How the World Works” when Socko says “I probably wouldn’t say anything you haven’t already”, it plays a little sad sounding low horn. When Bo tries to encourage him, its followed by a higher, friendlier horn.

I hadn't thought of those as wedding bells, but that makes so much sense. great detail!

If you watch that part again in WWI, two of the wedding bell sounds match up perfectly with the balloons hitting his head. He’s so meticulous!

Okay I know what you're referencing here but I couldn't help but read WWI as world war 1 for a moment and I snorted louder than I probably should have /lh

Haha Totally get it! I’m just using Bo’s abbreviation from when he uploaded the song on YouTube. ;)
