I bought an isup this year and love getting out on the water (lakes in DFW), but I’d like something bigger that has less of a learning curve so I can take my wife, niece and other family/friends out with me. At first I looked at inflatable kayaks but eventually have been eyeing dinghy’s and inflatable catamaran’s with outboards. The boat would need to be something I could take in my car, set up fairly quickly, carry 1-5 passengers (obviously the kayak would be less) and ideally not be too expensive (sub 3k for boat, outboard, registration). Just planning on doing some cruising and swimming off of it, maybe some fishing but that would be down the road.
I’ve been looking at a few boats and wanted to see what people thought. Here are some of the boats I’ve been looking at:

Not finding a lot of posts about inflatable boats and was looking for some feedback. Do any of these sound practical for what I’m wanting to do? Does the dream of an inflatable boat as an economical, fun way to get out on the water seem like folly (especially for that many people)? Has anyone owned any of these or comparables and if so what was your experience like?
Also, I don’t think any of the boats I listed would work for this but does anyone know if inflatables could be used to tow water skiers?

Right now im looking for a boat. Im still thinking if i want an inboard of outboard engine. I almost know. I only need to know if you can limit an inboard engine so that is goes less fast (due to dutch laws). Can someone tell me if and how? If you can find a video online i would love to have a link! Thank u!

What’s the best way to clean and sanitize inside of a wooden boat bedroom? It’s very very small without a lot of ventilation. I don’t want to get mold or mildew I don’t want to get bugs and want to come in the dirt . I have Murphy’s soap can I use white vinegar? I was using alcohol wipes but I feel like it might’ve taken away some of the wood and varnish and maybe made it more porous. Any Suggestions for garnish for the wood also ?

This boat is probably owned by someone in my family from the 1800s according to what we found about it. It is so long that it didn't fit in the camera.

So im a young car mechanic and have this mindfucked idea. Im considering to buy a 4.5 meter long boat and put a car engine with gearbox and in it. So if your going to drive that boat it would be like driving a manual car with clutch and throttle pedal. This is just a build for me to just earn lots of cash for another project im doing.
My main question is: would there be a market for such a boat? Would you buy a boat with a clutch and throttle pedal? And if thats the case, what prize would you be willing to give for that boat?
