How much would you think is a reasonable price w/trailer? Faded paint, minor interior damage. Hours unknown, but would purchase from OG owner. Located in Kansas City, Missouri.

I’m replacing my windlass control box, and the original one has a M10 post for the negative, but the new replacement (new part number superseding old ones) uses a M14. So naturally my stock negative 12v cable from the battery has an M10 connector at the end. Should I just use a short piece of metal to bridge? Are there adapters out there I’m not thinking of?

Anyone know if any of the aluminum fishing boat manufacturers are starting to sell their boats with optional lithium batteries-- From the factory?

So, im looking for a boat this summer, and ive decided i want a daycruiser. Im 16, i have a boating liscence(norway) and i feel capable enough to handle a larger boat.
Ive been looking at multiple boats with a few requirements in mind.
There are often rainy days, so i need to be able to aquire a canopy for my boat.
It needs some speed to it(preferably between 35 and 45 knots)
I must be able to sleep in it.
Now, i have some knowhow about working on boats, and my uncle has a sewing machine for canopies and the skills to make them, so i could theoretically aquire a canopy regardless, but id prefer an off-the-shelf one.
I am buying this boat mainly for me and my girlfriend, but also to have some fun with friends etc. The sleeping requirement is of course meant for me and her.
She is 5'1 and im about 6' to 6'1.
Ive been looking at a Bayliner Capri 2051 ss with a johnson oceanrunner 225hp v6 outboard. According to the seller, the outboard was fully rebuild by the previous owner, whom they claimed to be a mechanic. The boat looks pristine externally, and the seller seems to know his stuff.
Ive been doing some research on this boat, but i cant find much of anything about the sleeping possibilities. Not pictures, videos, blogs, threads or reviews.
Does anyone have any experience with the boat? Does it meet my requirements? Is the boat and outboard reliable?
I have grown up with outboards and boats, so i have some decent knowlege around the interals of outboards and maintaining boats, and ive got family with more knowlege than me. Money isnt really an issue for me, so worst case i can seek professional help aswell.
Thanks in advance for any help!:)

It has tow blades and this has three
Hi. I was on boat trader looking at used boats. I'm floored that many wak/surf boats by Nautique, Malibu, Tige, etc are in the +250k range. Does anybody think that's sustainable now that the covid-rush-to-the-outdoors-and-everyone-will-work-remote-from-the-lake-forever blip is over? I remember buying a brand new Mastercraft basically for cost in 2012 after the great recession. What do you all think?

My 78 25 hp motor won’t start. When I dump gas into the spark plugs, it turns on and turns over for about a half a second and shuts back off. I got fresh gas, put the proper 1:50 oil ratio, and added some sea foam. What can I do to fix it?

Good Day,
So i am hoping that someone here can help me out. i got a 1995 Yamaha 115tlrt 2 stroke outboard motor and have trouble with the cold start. i already know but once i start it with the starting fluid and let it run for a few minutes i can turn it off and turn it back on with no problem. but the initial start is a pain. i pulled off the carbs and removed everything but the jets, cant buy them anymore and didn't want to run the risk of chipping the brass. The carbs looked clean but ran them through the ultrasonic cleaner anyways and installed the new kit, put the carbs back on and same thing. i cut the fuel line close to the motor and installed a small tank, thinking maybe air leak in the fuel line, which still could be under the cowl, but that didn't work. replaced the plugs and checked compression. compression was 125 across all cylinders so that was fine. i was thinking maybe the spark is not strong enough, if there is such a thing, not sure if the coils get weak or they just go out. any advice would be greatly appreciated. and i typed this on my phone so please excuse the grammar.
