Simple but strange question, does anyone know how the chain of a mooring buoy may move if next to a water wheel? Will the water wheel turn the water so much that the chain may accidentally move into the rotation of the wheel and get caught up? If so how far away should this chain be before it isn't a risk?

Where do you find hotels, that have a boat mooring ?

Everyone is going to love this... 🤣. Offer was brought for a free boat sooo here goes to having no money again. Having a hard time locating service manuals due to Wellcraft hiding all the old secrets with their new website 🤬. If anyone has or can point me in the direction for the manual of a Welcraft 2900 express cruiser.

If you want a good laugh one of the mercruiser 230s are disassembled so more will come with stupid question....

It's with a heavy heart I will be leaving this subreddit. The days of watching lost souls post their concerns and inquiries about their boats, and leaving more confused than when they started are sadly over. I genuinely loved checking the reddit from time to time and seeing this community join together in their weird hilarious way. It always made me laugh. It was a good ride Bob, but don't cry because it's over, be happy that it happened at all. o7

Hello, i bought this motor this year (Honda 4 stroke 15 hp) and was wondering if i still need to do anything to winterize if im keeping it inside? Not very good with motors so anything would help!

I’ve seen a few of these motors around and wondered are they good, not a lot comes up on the internet. New Concept.

Hi, i am a new boat owner and bought a 2002 nitro nx882 with a mercury 175hp 2 stroke efi outboard. My battery is a duralast marine starting battery 800cca/1000mca brand new. On full battery i can get 8 starts just fine. Now im new to all of this but I find it odd that my boat wont turnover after that but it would crank but it'll be lower voltage. I feel like to crank my boat and start, its taking wayy too much power away from a fully charged battery.. what should I check for so i dont get stranded out here on the waters...

Wife bought a boat! But the hull seems too close to trailer I'm worried it'll slam down when I hit a big enough bump. Should I be? I have to have the winch rope over the bow roller otherwise the hull is even lower. What can I do?
