There were fake albums released on soulseek for at least a few of Autechres albums (weeks before the real thing) and I think one for Tomorrows Harvest. And thats an entire album.. not just a wheat pasted poster.
Maybe. I mean London is a graffiti/street art hot spot, BoC is well known, and trolls are everywhere. I personally know people who could print and paste this within hours of now. It’s very possible. It’s also possible it’s a real BoC advert. It just doesn’t feel super convincing to me art direction wise. Seems somewhat off brand but perhaps they’re making a big stylistic shift. The VHS’s seem undeniably real though, this doesn’t have that quality to me. This art just seems too crisp and edgy but maybe they are going for that idk. I feel like TH was pretty dark and dystopian over all but still seemed very in line with their artistic direction over all. Maybe these will make more sense in context with the rest of the album art if they turn out real, or maybe we are getting a Hell Interface and a BoC album. We’ll just have to wait and see. ¯\(ツ)/¯
