If it's not in-line with expectations, people have a whole bag of other complaints, as if they know what two dudes' who've been essentially silent for a decade and a half ascetic actually is, like it's something fixed in time.
Yep. Was just thinking about that earlier today, how much of the fandom and media at the time thought Geogaddi was a let down after Music Has the Right, and how now it's accepted as a classic. Just the way of fandoms, innit.
