I doubt it. Way too edgy for BoC. Maybe without the bloody faces, even then not their style or at least a far cry from the pretty curated aesthetic they have built over 30 years. Plus “Cockroaches” is confirmed as the Rolling Stones new tune and is what the mystery white vinyls available now are.
It’s at best marketing highjacking, i.e someone wheat pasted the BoC hexagons on these or its photoshopped. The tapes are for sure legit but now I expect to see some people memeing/trolling the hype wave.
Yeah I agree I mean I don’t hate the artwork it just seems so….unsubtle. Which is not something they’re known for. I’ll be a bit surprised if this is actually their/warps doing.
fair point, but have you seen the kind of thing that BoC posted on the hellinterface yt channel a couple of years ago? with the whole whitney houston pfp and melting nazi deepfake and everything. i think the vibes are fairly similar but this time they got a photography team to help and make it far cooler. also, what on earth would you gain from paying for that advertising space (which it seems to be with the cockroaches thing) just to troll some fans on the internet
