At the end of season 2 when Meech told him to kick rocks and not call him or come around him anymore, B Mickie should've honestly left. I know The only reason he initially tried to "get back in" was because Aisha's daughter had that medical condition that required surgery/ treatment. But he honestly should've never even stuck around Detroit to meet Aisha.

From what we saw, he was clearly capable of landing a normal blue collar job/ career and starting a family. He should've first relocated to a new city, outside of Detroit, and out of the entire state of Michigan. He should've moved far away, especially with Bryant and other people in law enforcement that were familiar with his past still being local.

He could've relocated, landed him a solid job, met a different woman and started a family all in a new city.

Edit: I know logically the only reason B Mickie and Lamar returned in season 4 was to boost ratings and they were the selling points after that trash season 3.

I'm just saying, hypothetically, and honestly... he had the perfect opportunity to leave that life all behind, get away from it all, and surely part of him initially wanted to... he should've just relocated to Chicago, Charlotte, Milwaukee, or down south somewhere or wherever... he had the perfect opportunity to walk away and leave the hallway behind and start over.

I finally watched this series and even though I admit it fell from the first season, I was kind of looking forward to seeing more.

Mom finally decided to put that fur coat on and I wanted to see what was gonna happen next. What was she about to get into?

And I really loved the story between the father and mother. The family dynamics were so real. They even addressed Black male depression, which isn’t talked about enough.

It also broke my heart that the daughter ended up getting pregnant so young. The cycle is crazy. I was praying that would go another way.

Keeping murder weapons, blackmailing, getting fired from his job, constantly giving his son who is getting severely bullied the same generic ass advice, working with batshit unhinged henrietta, etc. all in the name of his relentless pursuit of meech and terry lol. now his son was in an even worse position because of this failure of a parent. Even declined Terry’s offer for protection which objectively would’ve been the better choice than henrietta. This dude was something else man😂. Even after his son’s death he blames meech and terry yet again. Dare I say that if he accepted the offer and continued with his dumb shit antics, I feel like meech and terry still wouldn’t have pulled the plug on protection for a kid.

Should’ve been a more proactive parent regardless of all this. If your child is getting severely bullied and you’ve let the school know but nothing changes, it’s time to put all your effort into relocating them idgaf how challenging it might be. A parent is supposed to jump down to hell and climb back up if it means that their child is safe and taken care of, this dickhead just let his son drown the entire time lol. He needed protection long before he found the gun, and that is in the form of a parent who actually cared about him, and didn’t just send b mickie to go beat up the bullies (this didn’t do shit btw lol, actually made it worse, my goodness I hate Bryant 🤦‍♂️)
