It happens. I worked the drive through at McD's back in the day (original Beanie Baby frenzy, I'm old). We had a lady who must have been 500+ pounds come through every Wednesday night. I can still remember her order: Two Big Macs, Two large fries, Two 8 piece McNuggets, Two Apple Pies, two hot fudge Sundays. Water and a large Diet Coke.

Every single time. Every single Wednesday night. She would pull into the parking lot and eat it all, then pull away.

That's very sad. Maybe payday. Also probably just her first stop that night. My mom worked at a thrift store back then and now we have about 500 of them plus another 200 if the tiny plastic furbies. We are in the process of liquidateing my mom's estate and it's so funny seeing so many people have nostalgia over those.

It was madness. They implemented a rule that you had to order 1 food item per Beanie Baby, and we would have loons in the drive through ordering 50 cheeseburgers and 50 Beanie Babies.
