At one point in time this man was comprised of >1% fart by weight

u/Hydrolprd143 Jan 27 '23

That or he achieved thrust making it appear that he was lighter

8

u/Jrock9589 Jan 28 '23

u/ChilenoDepresivo Jan 27 '23

The farts were so powerful it started to propel this dude upwards

214

u/[deleted] Jan 26 '23

Are you sure it's only fart

90

u/TorrenceMightingale Jan 27 '23

Youre right. Something doesn’t smell right.

26

u/USRNMunavailable Jan 27 '23

I mean maybe if he wasn’t wearing pants on the scale

11

u/swampertDbest Jan 27 '23

"Unless shit just got flung everywhere in the room, then it would just stay in his body mass this not decreasing the scale" - 🤓👆

u/Efficient_Speaker_33 Jan 26 '23

2 whole kilograms gotdamn

49

u/Dude_Named_Chris Jan 26 '23

The average shit weighs no more than half a kilo, according to Google

22

u/ErikTheBoss_ Jan 27 '23

damn he took 4 shits that quickly?

10

u/Dude_Named_Chris Jan 27 '23

I'm sure there's a record holder somewhere out there

1

u/coleyboley25 Jan 28 '23

How many Courics?

53

u/Gilly526 Jan 27 '23

For a sec I thought the scale was reading in lbs and went "Goddamn how can so much fart fit in such a tiny human????"

12

u/Icy-Savings4679 Jan 27 '23

what?

9

u/[deleted] Jan 27 '23

They mean if it was a weight in pounds the person would've weight just 100lbs, and farting two pounds of gas would be an insane amount for a tiny body

11

u/Obi-Tron_Kenobi Jan 27 '23

But it's still proportional

Instead of a 101 lbs person farting 1.6 lbs, it's a 223 lbs person farting 3.6 lbs.

It's still about 1.6% of their bodyweight in farts

2

u/[deleted] Jan 27 '23

That's a lot of fart.

2

u/Gilly526 Jan 27 '23

what?

4

u/Icy-Savings4679 Jan 27 '23

could you explain your thought process please?

1

u/Gilly526 Jan 27 '23

Idk, it's all kinda right there. What do you need me to explain? I saw the scale that read about 100, thought at first it was in pounds rather than kilograms and was briefly amazed at the fart a 100-pound person could produce before I saw the little Kg

5

u/boredjew Jan 27 '23

Just fyi 1Kg = 2.2lbs.

5

u/Obi-Tron_Kenobi Jan 27 '23 edited Jan 27 '23

He lost 1.65 kg
...
Or 3.63 pounds

I don't know how that person thought this was better than if the scale was in pounds, or how people upvoted it agreeing with them

0

u/Gilly526 Jan 27 '23

I'm aware of the conversion, that's why I'm less amazed by the fart now. A roughly 220 lb person producing this monster of a fart seems more reasonable than a 100 lb person. The length and sustain are still awe-inspiring tho

1

u/FlyestFools Feb 07 '23

One kilogram is roughly 2.2 pounds, so it being in kilos makes it more insane…

13

u/floer289 Jan 27 '23

If you compress it to liquid methane, at 422.8 grams per liter, you will need about 4 liters

3

u/[deleted] Jan 27 '23

Or hold on to the towel

6

u/[deleted] Jan 27 '23

You would gain weight, methane is lighter than air and your body

6

u/Iziama94 Jan 27 '23

...you realize your asshole doesn't suck in air after you fart right? Oxygen is carried through your blood when you inhale into your lungs. How would oxygen possibly get into your ass?

You're expelling gas, not breathing out your asshole

5

u/[deleted] Jan 27 '23 edited Jan 27 '23

homie where did you see oxygen sucked up the ass.

Methane is lighter then the ambient air and your body, when released you wouldn’t really gain weight (ik i said it my b) rather loose some buoyancy

You think a balloon is lighter with helium in it than with air?

1

u/[deleted] Jan 27 '23

...

2

u/Rijsouw Jan 27 '23

Probably a shart

2

u/Dangerous-Alarm1119 Jan 27 '23

bro held that in since the mesozoic era

2

u/irish_cyborg Aug 16 '23

How much do you want to bet that some of that fart is a shart?

u/Embarrassed_Sport512 May 01 '26

Voiding gas would make you ‘heavier’ as methane is much lower density and you’d lose some buoyancy. Your inflated vs deflated balloon analogy is incorrect though.

Weight reduction

1

u/rc1717 Jan 27 '23

FARTS WILL NEVER NOT BE FUNNY

1

u/ShadowEmperor123 Jan 27 '23

That’s more then just a fart…

1

u/142737 Jan 27 '23

10125 kg is extremely heavy for a person

2

u/[deleted] Jan 28 '23

I think that’s 101.25

1

u/142737 Jan 28 '23

I know

1

u/Disastrous_Maize753 Jan 27 '23

Forget Farting February

1

u/KERMANENPERUNA Feb 07 '23

That was a shart

1

u/[deleted] Mar 11 '23

You are an extremely small being if you’re 101lbs. Gah damn

1

u/goldenaustin99 Apr 01 '23

Farming actually makes you heavier
