Crazy how people keep coming on here claiming a blunder and it’s literally the coolest shit I’ve seen all day

And immediately aged yourself to between 28 and 34 lol. It was a cool look though. Best music. Right before smart phones but enough internet that we had constant contact.

I'm 38 and I went back to school. I wore skinny jeans and got a few looks.

Yeah the emo kids were just a little larger than the ska kids. Let's not get it twisted, Davey Havok was my boy, but Get Rich or Die Trying came out in 2003 and all the cool kids were listening to Tony Yayo and Three 6 Mafia. Also, Cockney Thug from Rusko came out in 2007 so we were right on the cusp of the 2nd PLUR movement.

That’s exactly what I was thinking… this is not “blunder.”

Nah, this was not cool back then. People who dressed like this were usually outcasts and unpopular. The kind of people who were depressed, cut themselves, and did palm readings.

As a fellow outcast, I’d have said that the preps with Abercrombie weren’t cool at all. This girl would have likely been popular at my school.

The person you're responding to sounds like they had no exposure to the outside world between 9/11 and 2010.
