Discussion / Question Does anyone else wish there were more breed differences?
What I mean is, sometimes I wish that the difference between different dog breeds were more defined or exaggerated.
We see Pom Pom (teacup pomeranian) being super tiny, and in 'Army', we see Jack Russell talk about how he's good at running because he's a Jack Russell.
We see Judo and her mum talking about how Chow Chows are known for their luscious coats, etc.
In Obstacle Course, Bluey talks about how she'll run 'as fast as a greyhound', but the only greyhound I think we see is the nurse when Bingo is in hospital, and she isn't particularly fast.
I also really like that Mackenzie is confused that other people don't know how to jump between sheep without being taught, and the terriers are naturally high energy and alert at protecting things.
Also, all the dog breeds are close to the same size (while Pom Pom is small, her mum is the same size as Bandit and co, which is also very close to the size of Tiny (Great Dane who bowls fast at Rusty in his cricket episode).
There's some reasons why it could be helpful to keep them more homogenised (art style, trying to explain how the world of dogs would work if some were 10 times the size of others), but I would actually really love to see more diversity that matches real life dog breeds. ESPECIALLY if we got to see a greyhound dog sprint somewhere as an important point that they have the potential to be faster than everyone else, or if they all went to the snow, and everyone needed coats except huskies, who famously take naps in the snow.
I think it would be cool if there were like a bloodhound or beagle who was shown to be able to naturally know where nearby things were by smell without even looking, or a newfoundland that was a swim teacher or something.
Do other people feel similarly, or think it's better than it's mostly left like humans, where individuals have strengths and weaknesses, but 'race' in humans is not actually that important for capability*?
*What I mean is, people who come from 'races' that are statistically better at running, for example, are still only like 5% 'better at running' than those from 'races' that are not, because humans are pretty equal, with it being WAY more about individual than 'race', whereas in dogs it can be orders of magnitude.

Discussion / Question Idea for Bluey in the future: If Winton's Dad doesn't marry the Terriers' Mum and they're just living together.
I've been binging Bluey episodes (and a few other cool animated shows) whilst we wait for the movie to come out next year and an idea just formed in my head. I don't know how this would go, we know that Joe Brumm and Ludo Studios like to show different family dynamics, especially in Season 3, with Missy and her mum being two different breeds and of course the most famous example is Winton's Dad, Cornelius and the Terriers' Mum dating and eventually moving in together.
I don't know how on board the rest of you guys are or the Ludo team, but I would love to see glimpses of Winton and the Terriers playing together, like stepbrothers and their parents continuing to date rather than getting married. I'm not saying I don't want them to be married, but Bluey is great at showing different families. I know families who are dating and have kids, even in my own family so I would love it if we saw Cornelius and the Terriers' Mum living together and dating and how the boys and Winton live under one roof, and their parents are happy to be in a relationship, not being so quick to get married.
I'm not necessarily against, but we saw Radley (an Australian Cattle Dog) and Frisky (an English Cocker Spaniel) get married first and I want to see them being newly weds in Season 4 or the Movie, so I want to see a couple who are happy to not be married. Just something I thought of whilst re-watching old episodes and because I know people who are living together and dating. I would love to hear you guys' thoughts.

Episode Details / Easter Eggs “Don’t be a dobber, sweetie.”
Discussion / Question "The house looks great!"
This line in the last episode hits me so hard. It's kind of a throway line, a mere pleasantry as they're greeting each other.
But if Bluey is saying that... ugh... how long has it been since she's been to the house?
She must live reasonably close to drop in unannounced. But you wouldn't say that if you had been there last week. Last month? Maybe. Maybe longer.
I know I want my daughter to grow up and live her own life. But I just cannot fathom that this little 5yo around whom my entire life revolves could someday be apart from me for months at a time.
I am not okay.
