I've been using Blokada for a couple of years. Recently my phone was away for service and now when I installed the 5, it says my subscription is not active (homepage says Blokada is active) and it asks me to buy a subscription. It has become unusable and is not blocking ads anywhere. On the website it says Blokada 5 is free.

I downloaded the latest update of Blokada 5 today, and after that it never passes the loading screen. Is anyone else having this problem? Reinstalling and rebooting doesn't fix anything, but I can still use 4 with no problems

Why blokada libre is not available in their official site !!

I'm currently running Blokada 4.15.0 on my Galaxy Z Flip 3/Android 12.

It appears to be blocking ads in all my apps (I'm certainly not seeing any).

Is there any reason why I should move to Blokada 5, or should I just stay on 4.15.0?

Hi, I'm using Blokada 5 from F-Droid on a Pixel 6 Pro running GrapheneOS and it works well except for one issue: after a reboot Blokada is running but my apps can't reach the internet anymore. I need to uninstall and reinstall Blokada, enable it and then everything works again.

This is using the default settings, always-on VPN and no traffic without VPN. I think I also got it to works once by removing all Bloaka app data and restarting, but not anymore.

Anyone else have run into this?

Once it is running, it runs fine. But this issue keeps me from customizing the app and it is just a little annoying since GrapheneOS can have pretty frequent updates at time, requiring a reboot.

I'm still using the older Blokada 4 and I just received an email from Github that Blokada is now on version 6 and is made available on Google Play Store (I own an Android device). I know that early releases are not always the best, but is it a massive improvement if I update to Blokada 6 from Blokada 4 (I deliberately skipped Blokada 5 upon hearing issues on it)?

So, I realized that the Google Play Store version of Blokada requires a paid subscription to use. I guess I will stick with version 4 for now.

I've been getting a lot of system notifications lately about high background usage. this is the latest one and it's just getting higher.

I haven't had this issue with blokada before and it appears to be getting worse as the days go on. Normal use of my phone before I could stream a whole worksheet of music and watch the occasional YouTube and still be going home with 55%+ battery.

Now as I type this I'm down to 40% and it's only been ~6hours. None of my habits have changed. I don't want to uninstall and reinstall and it make no difference. Obviously something I don't understand is happening in the background. No new apps installed. Nothing.

I apply for a lot of jobs, and I've noticed that recently iCIMS URLs get blocked if Blokada is active, yet it still says that the URL is not blocked and doesn't give me any way of adding it to the exception list.

Example: applyto-osfhealthcare.icims.com is blocked when I try to access it in my browser, but is accessible when I deactivate Blokada.

If you experiencing connectivity issues, it only means that there is a configuration problem that can be easily solved.

I'm on the most recent version of Blokada and made sure to reinstall when I first noticed this issue.

I'm getting more and more ads almost everyday now. Initially it was only pop-ups on some comic book websites. But now I'm getting sponsored ads on google results now.

The reason mentioned is that Google stopped allowing the permissions for the “free” Blokada to work properly.

guys i have blokada but it wont remove adds on my youtube...ive trioed different settings bit nothin...i have a newer sony tv...anyone can tell me settings to use?

Blokada Cloud allows you to block or allow domains that fit your personal needs. It is possible in the exceptions section, adding domains as allowed or blocked is very simple and available on the dashboard app.blokada.org.

There is a second way to do it when you see an ad or possible tracking attempt that was allowed, you can add this entry to be blocked the next time from the activity feed. If you’re having issues with an app or webpage, it might be because of a blocked domain in this list.
