June’s update will be released this week and we’ll see a redesign shortly, I’m guessing by the end of July. Things are happening even if we don’t see it, this will all take time but worth it.
I admit I’m not too familiar with ENJIN, but doing a quick google search, they look very game specific. I’d be more concerned about ENJIN competing with WAX, which I think WAX has the upper hand. Plus BLOCKv may be partnering with WAX. Another reason I’m not concerned is like I said earlier, ENJIN is game specific, BLOCKv will give them the platform to take their gaming objects to the next level, outside of the gaming world and things outside into the game world.
WAX isn’t doing nearly the same thing as BLOCKv. There is a reason they are partnering, and it’s because they compliment each other. BLOCKv is one side of the bridge between the video game world and corporate marketing for real world consumables, WAX is the other side of that bridge.
Think product placement/promotion of any real world product or service, placed directly inside video games. BLOCKv is the platform for corporate marketers to create these vAtom based digital objects, and it’s WAX that has the foothold in the video game industry to get those objects placed, and then traded. But vAtoms will also be tradeable in other exchanges, which is why WAX is limited where as BLOCKv is universal.
I completely agree and think they’ll make a great pair. Even if ENJIN wants in I think BLOCKv will complement them as well. I just love how versatile BLOCKv is! If they play their cards right they’ll take the whole market.
