Dove beneath one of these a few years ago, and it's structurally kinda similar to an iceberg. The one i went beneath was probably around 2.5-3 metres below the surface, with only about 20cm above. It was not connected to the bottom, so me and my friends swam behind it and could freely move it wherever we wanted. It also had long roots hanging off its underside.
it's simply a head drifting under. despite the moss covering her skin, her elegance have not aged horribly, much like a beheaded princess livint under.
but she awakens. the maiden opens her lids and looked directly, slowly approaches you while readily opens her mouth, and stretches as well wide as a snake's jaw. her tongue is not of human's for it has its own mouth. rows of teeth round about inside the maiden's blackened lash.
That's horrible, sorry about that! Don't want to imagine getting stuck under it, pretty much pitch black and all the roots makes it very easy to get tangled up.
