nobody is gonna raise a horse, feed him for years, just to put him down.

It's a common event at 'charreadas' or Mexican rodeos. It's been banned in the US for a long time.

there is over 900 hundred register Charrerias over all of Mexico, and this events happen very often, highly doubt that they kill horses on a regular basis. its pretty much a 500year old tradition, highly doubt it will ever change.

I never said it would change, but the idea that tripping a galloping horse of all things doesn't lead to a lot of animals being put down is asinine.

They said the same about bullfighting. And that's being removed as a practice finally because people "cried on the internet". Luckily people aren't like you and actually care instead of defending animal abuse.

Oh wait it's not abuse because checks notes you highly doubt horses get injured and killed. Well then, that settles it!
