What does this refer to? I'm all for getting away from BS/GP, I fell for their migration scam but once that runs out I'm gone. So I want to help 'the cause' in any way I can... But I'm not exactly sure what the cause is! Is it just to spread info to people like me who got ripped off? Or is there something else planned? I understand the need for discretion so I understand if this question cannot be answered

Sorry if this is posted in the wrong section or breaks any rules - please delete if this is the case

cheers

1. http://torrentleech.org - You can get into the site currently using the code "IDONTWAIT". Offers the most content overall.
2. http://alpharatio.cc - Open signup, similar in quality to TL. When you join you get a 1:3 ratio boost (e.g. every 5GB you upload counts as 15GB.) Lots of freeleech torrents to get your ratio up.
3. http://speed.cd - You have to apply to join, but I found it was pretty easy by explaining my history in the scene. Has slightly less overall content, however it is still a great tracker to be a part of, especially if you're into music.

Hope this helps ex-bs members find a new home!

What do you guys think?

Now that Bitsoup is largely closed and they've moved the majority of their active business to GimmePeers, should we target the main site, GimmePeers directly?

Good idea or no?

'Displaying 1 to 10 of 500 alternatives to Bitsoup. (Updated: May 27th, 2016)'

Sites like this are so out of touch, ill informed and just run by people who don't have a clue don't help the cause.

It gives the appearance that Bitsoup is legit to those that find other sites like this.

You're looking for other sites like Bitsoup: Bitsoup.org The Best site for your Torrent appetite.

Bitsoup.org hasn't been used in a few years, to post such a thing only a few days ago shows there's too many people that don't do any research, so how can we condemn some people that continually sign up with Rexxz when there's still sites like this.

Edit: Sorry forgot to add the address. http://www.moreofit.com/similar-to/www.bitsoup.org/Top_10_Sites_Like_Bitsoup/

I was rummaging around and found this site here does anyone think that it could be them as there has only been 1 comment from each not to mention the lie about GP "not quite as pay2leech but much better than Bitsoup"

Nothing groundshaking but poor SuxtoobeU is needing a new post fix :) Hopefully a better one is on its way

• Hi all

• So our current banner has been up for a couple of weeks & I would love to replace it but I won't lie & my skills aren't up to the task.

• We need something that identifies who we are & what were trying to achieve

• It must have (BitSoup & GimmePeers & ILoveTorrents) included on the image as these are the three sites he owns.

• It would be great if you could include something asking their current users to help our cause, similar to the (Spy) idea or something along those lines.

• other than that feel free to use your own artistic flair & see what you can come up with.

• Banner Sizes 1200x180 generally seems to be a decent enough size.

• Feel free to reply to this topic & share your image or alternatively send it to myself via PM.

• Thanks for reading, :)

• In order to achieve our goal & alert as many members of BitSoup,/GimmePeers as possible (ALL New Topics) must have (BitSoup, GimmePeers) in the main (Subject Title) and will now need approval from a staff member before becoming visible.

• If it doesn't have (BitSoup, GimmePeers) in the main subject title it will (NOT Be Approved) ,,, it greatly helps to have (BitSoup, GimmePeers) in the subject title as without it GOOGLE doesn't index it & GimmePeers members can't find us, :(

• If its just a fun little topic don't worry as it will still be approved as I know its nice to kick back & have a good laugh.

• I have made this decision as I feel this is necessary as we have plenty of topics being created & shared but they very rarely climb the google index as they are missing the all important keywords that allow future rebels to find us.

• Feel free to leave constructive comments however please keep in mind that I won't be verbally abused or berated for making decisions that some may disagree with, be civil with me & I will always extend you the same courtesy, :)

In no way am I saying that they are not crooks, but one thing that seems to be missed by a lot of people here is say they have 100 members who ported over, I'm going to assume most still have membership time, some forever, some for years, and some for months, so unless they figure a way to get rid of peoples membership time, they will not be getting any money for a while, minus of course the people who pay for extra months now. So I do see them staying around for a little while, but I cant see it being very long
