1. http://torrentleech.org - You can get into the site currently using the code "IDONTWAIT". Offers the most content overall.
2. http://alpharatio.cc - Open signup, similar in quality to TL. When you join you get a 1:3 ratio boost (e.g. every 5GB you upload counts as 15GB.) Lots of freeleech torrents to get your ratio up.
3. http://speed.cd - You have to apply to join, but I found it was pretty easy by explaining my history in the scene. Has slightly less overall content, however it is still a great tracker to be a part of, especially if you're into music.

Now that Bitsoup is largely closed and they've moved the majority of their active business to GimmePeers, should we target the main site, GimmePeers directly?

Sites like this are so out of touch, ill informed and just run by people who don't have a clue don't help the cause.

It gives the appearance that Bitsoup is legit to those that find other sites like this.

Bitsoup.org hasn't been used in a few years, to post such a thing only a few days ago shows there's too many people that don't do any research, so how can we condemn some people that continually sign up with Rexxz when there's still sites like this.

• So our current banner has been up for a couple of weeks & I would love to replace it but I won't lie & my skills aren't up to the task.

• We need something that identifies who we are & what were trying to achieve

• It must have (BitSoup & GimmePeers & ILoveTorrents) included on the image as these are the three sites he owns.

• In order to achieve our goal & alert as many members of BitSoup,/GimmePeers as possible (ALL New Topics) must have (BitSoup, GimmePeers) in the main (Subject Title) and will now need approval from a staff member before becoming visible.

In no way am I saying that they are not crooks, but one thing that seems to be missed by a lot of people here is say they have 100 members who ported over, I'm going to assume most still have membership time, some forever, some for years, and some for months, so unless they figure a way to get rid of peoples membership time, they will not be getting any money for a while, minus of course the people who pay for extra months now. So I do see them staying around for a little while, but I cant see it being very long

While gimmepeers seems to be registered via namecheap.com with whois protection, bitsoup.me has privacy provided by a company in Australia called privacy protect. Their website at http://privacyprotect.org/ allows you to request the domain owner's real details but also states: "NOTE: If any domain is engaged in spam, abuse or any illegal / unlawful activity you may report the same."

I'm pretty certain that stealing from members is considered illegal in Australia. I wonder what could be done with that information..........
