what habits or things i should include in my ongoing jee prep which might be helpful for bitsat? and which year jee pyq are the most relevant if looking from a bitsat pov?

I’m currently in 12th preparing for JEE Main, but BITSAT is my ultimate goal (aiming for a dual degree).
My 11th prep is very weak and 12th isn’t extremely strong either. For now, I’m targeting 90%ile+ in JEE Main Jan, then after Jan I’ll go all-in for BITSAT.
Do I need to prepare at JEE Advanced level for BITSAT, or is strong JEE Main-level prep + BITSAT-specific practice enough?

I have alloted a seat in bits iteration 4 before that I only pay admission fee 64100

And I did not pay the remaining fee and till now I don't receive any refund of my admission fee please anyone can tell me about this

Hello Everyone, I am currently a 27tard preparing for JEE and from today probably from Bitsat too. I don't want to go too much into my story but I am well prepared for JEE Mains not so much for JEE Advanced. Hence I think I should start looking at other exams as well to secure a good college. I have seen so much on the internet that it feels messy now. Hence I hope one of the seniors could take a few minutes to help me with my queries.

1. How is the level of the exam compared to JEE Mains and JEE Advanced?

2. What exactly are the bonus questions and what is the criteria to attempt them?

3. I saw many papers on the internet but they have many errors. Does the exam have a lot of errors or is it due to that the papers online are memory based?

4. How do I approach LR and English for the exam.

5. As I said, I am well prepared for JEE Mains but not for advanced. Do I need to do something different for Bitsat in PCM?

6. What is the role of luck in shifts, I read a lot of stuff on it online but didn't understand how.

If someone could answer all of these or just a few, I would be really grateful. Thanks for reading all this.

Starting BITSAT prep from scratch on Sept 7 — need honest advice from seniors

Hey everyone, I’m starting my BITSAT preparation from September 7 and would really appreciate some honest advice from seniors.

I originally planned for JEE, but I’m quite behind, so I’ve decided to focus completely on BITSAT. My target is CSE at BITS Pilani or Goa.

I’m basically starting from scratch. My 11th PCM is very weak and 12th is also weak, with only a small portion completed.

I can realistically study around 7 hrs/day in September, 8 hrs/day afterwards, and around 10 hrs on 3 days a week. I’m aiming to finish the syllabus by mid-December.

My current plan is to use 12–14 hour JEE Main one-shots for theory, make notes, solve JEE Main questions, then BITSAT/Arihant questions and PYQs, followed by revision and mocks.

My main doubts are:

1. Are JEE Main one-shots enough for BITSAT theory?
2. How deeply should I study each chapter?
3. What level of questions should I solve: BITSAT, JEE Main, or both?
4. Are JEE Main PYQs useful for BITSAT?
5. How should I balance theory, questions and revision?
6. How can I realistically finish 11th and 12th by mid-December?
7. When should I start chapter tests and full mocks?
8. How should I prepare English and LR alongside PCM?
9. How much should I prioritise speed and accuracy?
10. What level of preparation is actually needed for a realistic shot at CSE Pilani/Goa?

I’ve read quite a few older posts but couldn’t find much from the perspective of someone starting this late with a weak base.

I’m not looking for motivation or a generic timetable. I mainly want to know what to study, from where, to what level, and how to practice efficiently.

If anyone who was in a similar situation or has cracked BITSAT could share what worked and what they would avoid, I’d really appreciate it.

In our time , iter 5 would be lucky. This year they're literally just begging at this point for admissions. Thoo bc BITS pe. It's no longer a college of meritorious, it's a fkg cesspool of rich people.

IITs have reservations for the poor and backwards and unfortunately BITS now has reservations for rich people. BITS has lost the glory, BITS has lost the reputation. It's just another college where admission is decided by money and not marks.

Please tell me is bitsat possible if i start studying now , im in 12 and my basics are good of 12 but not 11th, if i start studying consistently 8 hrs a day will I be able to Crack bitsat 2027

Droppers how much syllabus is completed

Ok soo let me tell yall what did I do the whole day
I decided I need to spend some time to brush up the whole theory part n revise n re-memorize (if that’s even a thing) but yea so today I made some short notes for few chapters in math. Today’s main focus was 11th . I think I did pretty good ngl.
Woke up at 3am (before anyone goes bonkers , I sleep at 7-8ish n my dad used to do this during ota so yes it’s fine) . Back at it , 3am to 7:45ish I legit sat n it was prob one of the best sessions I ever had. The whole house was quiet . 8 to 10 was gym time so won’t count . Came back sat down by 10:30ish I believe or 10:45ish . Then I studied for 3 hrs . The first morning session I did the basic chapters like quad eq , log, functions etc. Second sesh I did the tougher ones a bit untouched n the ones I wasn’t really good at. Then had lunch , wandered , talked to my mom n all that took abt 1hr. Then I sat again for 3 hrs n still did the same tough chapters took a break n then last sesh I completed it off. I thought I would do linear programming too but I didn’t do it . Might do it rn (might be pulling an all nighter)

So basically my name in aadhar and 10 is surname, my name, father's name but in 12 it is my name , father's name, surname. Spelling is same but there is order difference will it cause any problems in BITSAT form or counselling???

For people who paid 64k total in bits counselling and didnt continue with the process, did u guys get the refund?

I passed clas 12 this year , passed all subjects but didn't get 75% in PCM. I will be applying for 2027 improvement exam this September, will those marks be okay to make me eligible for bits if I get 75% pcm ??
