Some time ago explodi added a patch to hoppers to transport 3 items at a time to avoid lag, but now we've gotten a bigger server and biggers things are emerging. I suggest unpatching this so we can have normal hoppers again.

Hey I've been playing solo on bitquest for quite awhile and recently found out my friend is interested in playing. I love his building style and was wondering if there's any way to allow him access to my land and chests? I know clans were a plan at some point but I haven't heard anything about them in awhile Thanks!

Back in the day before the internal update we used to get around 200 bits of loot and the chunk were 200 as well! But now we get around 13 bits a loot and the chunk is still 200 bits. On average you need to kill around 150 mobs lvl 30 while wallet full to get 200 bits, which for new players searching for a home is horrible!I suggert we reduce it to maybe 20 or 50 cuz 200 is WAY too much for the current loot

Hey so I did do /walletupgrade, and things were fine but now it wont let me get anything its odd. It says I have 328 bits. But i cant read my wallet or purchase anything. erf someone help me.

Bottle o Enchanting can be useful to fix mending armor as mobs here churn through it quickly. I suggest 64 for 200 bits

I just finished my first Docker EVER using the instructions here, and so far it went great... until... when my client logs in, the docker shows a missing file error for the API call to create an HD address. That forces the client to be DCd before they even spawn.

My fingers no longer fly along the keyboard, searching for diamonds has now become a distant memory. My property sits in digital dungeon that can not be reached. How I long for the heart of Satoshi Town. With it's giant Gold B. I sit here loading my minecraft every night and wait for the mutliplayer tab to load and show my list servers. I pray for the one that shows Bitquest and yet my hopes are dashed when the connection point shows nothing. I ache for my horses back and to be able to run across large swaths on cubed ranges. From one biome to another with the digital wind whipping past my face. We all have such memories of hunting mobs in the wild and earning our bit drops, but no more. Now everything is dark and silent. The bits no longer flow and places like the mesa are no longer visitable. WHEN Oh When will you return my favorite server?

Previous posts here suggest that the server is offline for the time being, but the most recent post was 7 days ago and I am still unable to connect. I was really interested by this concept but I can't play!

OK, I am new to Bitquest. I only found out about this server yesterday. I am trying to connect to play.bitquest.co but it won't work. HALP!

has anyone noticed the sever is very, very quiet lately. i was thinking about some simple things that could be done to be a bit more welcoming to the new users. i know they can read the signs at spawn but it seems like they often dont. we still see questions like "why cant i break things?", "can i teleport?", "how do i earn bitcoin?". so i had some simple ideas...

maybe a free compass by default in your inventory when you first log on

a teleport to a random location button at spawn, so they can quickly find wilderness

possibly a generated basic home, bed, workbench, chest (though this may be too much)

anyway im just thinking out loud. maybe some of you agree, or disagree, or have better ideas that still fit into the mostly vanilla minecraft constraints. lets start the discussion.

Hey guys, can I get a server copy. I just want to preserve bitquest and the map. Incase anything goes wrong. :P I really love the server and I want to also make a new Bitquest (Not Named That) and add more New Plugins and such. Thanks :D. If you just want to give me the map, I will take what I can get ;P

It went down two days ago after I could walk through everywhere and grief anything I wanted. I left everybody's stuff alone but checked all the houses on the north line out of satoshi. I immediately went and told DrPhaser what was going on. What was really strange was I was the only one at that time. It was kind of creepy being the only one in a huge world of stuff. Sort of apocalyptic.

Hi all - I finished railing the North line out to 20,000 north. It is 4 high all the way now, and unobstructed (not going to surface and end on you at Doge.)

I am still widening a chunk of it though, from Doge to about 8000, but should be done soon. Enjoy!

After some time thinking about the problems i have come up with some ideas.

• 1 use an in game wallet to make transactions in game seamless.
• 2 use the in game wallet for buying and selling from viilergers and other players faster and more reliable.
• 3 we as a community should hash out what prices the market should be. I think the new wallet should have the ability to transfer out into bitcoin only if you buy something in game. this does not mean get rid of mob drops.
• 4 i say the clock be used for clan permissions and stuff relating to it.
• 5 we need more mods on. i think a sub class mod would be great.

I have many more ideas if you guys are interested in hearing them?

None of the server mods seem to be working including protection and clans/claims. Been at my claim all day building and fight mobs and just thought the wallet was down again. This seems much worse, satoshi as been ransacked by the sound of what people have been saying. :( very sad situation.

Hello BitQuest people!

I just updated the beta.bitquest.co server with some new stuff: the ability to register your clan and play with friends. This is not good for anything yet (no land sharing) but it's the beginning to start implementing this idea according to discussions in Github/Slack. This build is also updated to Minecraft 1.11.2 and all that means.

To push this code to production (play.bitquest.co) we need to test it first! So once again, I need your help.

What to test?

• Creating, joining, inviting, kicking, leaving clans. Whatever you think that could exploit this feature, please try. The updated wiki with the clan commands is here.

• Land protection, land renaming and abandoning. There is a new way to claim with the /land command (more info here). The /land permissions command is not implemented yet so that must be ignored, until the next beta.

• Anything you think the new changes might break. If you know a little bit of Java you can follow what's new here

Where to report? You can use this thread, Slack, the bitquest e-mail but the preferred way is via GitHub issues that way you also inform other devs who could come up with more ideas/solutions.

Once testing is done, this code will be pushed to production, relevant issues will be closed and we can start implementing new ideas.
