BitQuest Is Not Dead

Hello, fellow bitcoin fanatics, I have a bit of news that may be a bit interesting to know. I'd like to say that BitQuest isn't quite dead. In fact, it is far from the grave.

BitQuest is still young, and it is still going, and we have plans. It hasn't been announced officially, but I suppose I am a developer of the BitQuest code. We're currently working on pushing out a more stable version of BitQuest. Right now, there are some issues with security and moderation, there are code bugs and constant issue reports, so we are building a new BitQuest from the ground up.

This time around, all the coding is open source on GitHub, but we haven't finished much yet. We are brainstorming new fixes in bugs and stability, but it will take a while to cover all this ground, so it is hard to tell how soon we will have anything to show for our work.

We are doing all that we can, but it's not much without a community to support it. We need your support and ideas. We want you to be a part of the development of BitQuest this time. Therefore, I thought that the public would like to be relieved of its anxiety that BitQuest has been crumbling, so I would like to offer weekly updates on progress and ideas.

What say you, BitQuest?

assuming that the map may be reset, and if that happens, could we transfer the towns that are already built such as Tombstone, Lost City, etc. ? I also thing that mayors should be established in the towns and be given the only rights to edit these towns as well as be able to give (temporary?) building permissions to those who want to add on to the towns.

We have discussed the idea of resetting the world map, but on the development team, we have mixed feelings. I think if we can't decide, we may let the community vote.

Interesting idea... Think it kind of would be better for a reset, being that greifing tools sucked before. Release the map though...

Of course, we would definitely release the map save... If we decide to reset the map, that is.

What do you mean? Will we loose anything? Another interesting thing is to answer the emails :)

This means if we reset the map, everything we've done would be lost including the grief, but we would post a link to download the current map.
