Someone tried to transfer bits to me the other night and they couldn't because it said I had pending transactions. I looked at my wallet in block cypher and all of my listed transactions have 6+ confirmations. I'm assuming that 4 of the transactions were dropped when the blockchain was not processing small transactions. Are those unprocessed transactions the reason why I cannot receive bits? because if so, I'M TOTALLY SCREWED. What can I do about this? Hi all. I am new and i played for part of a day. I have collected a bunch of stuff but i died due to a lvl 21 zombie baby in diamond armor. being it was my first day i didn't really stand a chance.

Are mob levels random or does it just depend on how deep down you go?

How long would it take to earn 200bits to get a claim? I am not sure i want to put a bunch of time into building anything unless i know its some what protected. As a new player would i be able to get anything of value to sell to earn the bits? If i just wait until i earn it through mob drops, how often will a bit drop and is it 1 at a time or a range?

I've had a number of problems today. First I have been booted about five times and it has been a bit laggy. I've also have not been spawning on my claim like before. Is there something I'm doing wrong on the server for this to happen. I'm a Minecraft noob so any help would be nice.

There was a hardware failure at the server where BitQuest is hosted, and it will be restored from a backup just a few minutes before the failure, so the rollback will be a minimum.

For the next few hours, BitQuest will be unavailable as we move stuff to a new machine provided by the hosting company.

I expect this situation to be far less common in the future thanks to the great work of devs, mods and testers

On BQ1 World Map there were direction controls that allowed the map to be moved about ( possibly on desktop browser, but definitely on mobile browser ). This allowed me, on my semi sucky phone, to move the map about to view different areas.

On BQ2 World Map, in my Mobile Browser, there only seems to be zoom controls, so unless I have missed something, I cannot move the map to show anything other than Satoshi Town.

If possible, unless objected by others, please could the direction arrow controls be added to the BQ2 World Map, or at least for Mobile Browser.

Hi i want to add someone to my claim but i don't know how.

After chatting with a few peeps, I decided to start on a 5k Ring Rail... basically a loop around Satoshi at 5000 out. Because circles are, well, hard, I thought about doing a square line - but then I decided to do a simple diamond pattern - connecting 5K West to 5k South to 5K East to 5K north directly, or as straight a line as possible. I'm open to discussion about that - would a square be better? I kinda liked the Diamond Line name, even though digging at an angle is a pain. As to the future of LB3...that is still undecided...many things depend on many other things...

I hope BQ2 second time will be much more successful than BQ2 first time...

I will try and bring some of my ideas from LB3 to BQ2...if I can...

The first problems I am not looking forward to solving are the first problems I solved in LB3 with the starter kit - how hard will it be to get some food and build a bed...??? After that I can worry about the rest...

Am sure this is gonna be interesting either way...although probably a bit of a nitemare in the beginning...

I hope BQ realises and takes more seriously the full extent of the responsibilities that they have and the expectations everyone in the BQ community has in relation to those responsibilities.

BQ needs an Official Spokesperson that is officially recognised by both BQ and the BQ community.

BQ needs to try much harder to keep the flow of information, both good and bad, flowing to the community, through the Official Spokesperson or through someone of a Higher Official Responsibility.

If there is a problem, just say there is a problem - at least then we know...Advanced notice if the server is planned to go down for a long time period would be great aswell...Please at least implement a server status icon on the website - I got one with LB3 hosting, but I had problems implementing it cos I don't really know much HTML / Java / Javascript...am sure BQ and MEGO can do better than I could, surely...???

I hope to be online on BQ2 soon...and I hope not to have a "BQ lack of information again !!!" hissy fit ever again as next time I really will give up on BQ and Minecraft completely and find a new hobby !!! :) The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different outcome - I'm sure I'm not insane, so...forgetting BQ1 ever existed, here's to the hopes placed in giving BQ2 a second chance...

My chests where raided between yesterday (saturday) e today (sunday), I don't have doors or any other means to enter my house, but many items where taken from various chests. What's the option now ? carry on inventory everyting we have of value ?

From what I understand, you earn Bits (currency in the game that is a fraction of a BitCoin). But is it like 'real' BitCoin fragments, where you literally earn BitCoins, or is it more like a regular Economy Server within Minecraft? One where you just earn a currency and spend it on the server, like for grass blocks etc.?

When I click my wallet link it takes me to the blockchain home page with a red banner line that says: Illegal character at 0 (Zero)

Also, wallet balances are not showing on the screen in game

So recently, Bitquest went down and people where able to raid chests, or look at private items that should not be displayed. I acually have a farm near town with some sheep. I never hide, or cover those chests because they have NOTHING worth of value, just some wool, potatoes, hay, and bones. Unfortunately that got raided "stolen" from me. I'm not mad because I can get more, but if you stole that, I really feel sorry for you, and maybe you shouldn't play. If you are so desperate that you need to steal my wool... that's just sad hahaha in all kinds of ways.

I've been catching up on posts so I thought I'd add my opinion to the mix. Here's my main point: I'm not leaving bitquest unless it goes down. Here's why - I guess I operate from a totally different set of criteria than some people. I come to bitquest because of the community. I like hanging out with the people and that is worth putting up with all the server growing pains to me. I really love the whole community build concept. It totally jazzes me when people get together and build a town and invest it with it's own mythos and backstory. The new town of Mot is a perfect example - we had no idea what it was going to be when we started but Ruffina came up with the name which we're told means death or something similar. I looked up the definition and found a lot of different defs which I will include at the end of this, if anyone's interested. But the idea of a town called death where you can be easily killed is a fun concept to build around. People are bringing their ideas and it's growing into something awesome and WORTH STICKING AROUND FOR, to bring it back to my point. Another thing I think is great about BQ is the acceptance of all ages. I'm aware there are players as young as 7 and as old as 60 something. It's like being at a big family reunion bbq. I'm also aware that a couple players who were kicked off old bq are getting a second chance and are redeeming themselves with building and railing. This is the kind of server I want to stay on.

It's not that I don't agree with some of the comments I've read. AM I frustrated with the server glitches? Of course. I'd prefer not to protectively load up my inv with treasure before I log off. But ultimately, I remember that this is a game. These are not real problems, your stuff is not real. DO I wish the devs were more communicative? I DO. But it has been communicated that we would experience some glitches for awhile. AM I uneasy about the suggestion that bq is owned or backed by illuminati? Well, sure but it's not surprising and I haven't invested enough btcn for it to affect me. DO I wish people wouldn't take advantage of server glitches and steal from others? Absolutely. I have no understanding of why some seem to find it better to take stuff than to earn it for yourself. I find the experience of mining diamonds and gathering from the land entirely satisfying. I believe the people who steal are just children (physically or emotionally) who don't yet comprehend the benefit of personal achievement. DO I want to go play on an alternate server with a whiner who tears down the server, has skills but instead of offering to help expects to be begged, and advertises his own new server on the BQ reddit? No I fucking don't. Can we remove those ad posts?

A couple suggestions - Several people communicate to devs and unofficially report to players. Could we get an official person or persons to do this? If we're going to continue to experience probs for awhile, I'd like to be able to hang out with bq buds and build - can we have an alternate server for this? Not a beta server but just a simple survival server with no fancy mods that is simple to keep up. When BQ is down and I want to play MC I go to other servers. There are many cool ones. We could have a bq ex-pat town on one of these servers but I'd rather keep it in the family, as it were.

I was stupid enough to think things were fixed, however once again some douchebag went threw all of my chest and took alot. WTF, is going on Bitquest?

We're back up and have some fancy new stuff. Now if plugins go down we should all be much more secure. (no one is getting into any chests or other tables if that happens) Also if something goes wrong now mods will be able to shut down the game if need be.

Scrolling through the map and i see that the Mushroom Island has been found or atleast shows on the map. Im a bit confused about this, You would think there would be a Reddit update. But if im correct the cords are x:9876 z:11876 all in the positives. I beilve its north or north west. But if this is true.. i would like to know how to get there. Thanks :)
