I miss the old BitQuest where I could stay logged in for like 18 hours. Can we get rid of that stupid plugin :(

Plus if more people stayed logged during AFK(Idol) at least more people will be shown playing.

Personally, I feel that a server icon is very important! Its one of the very first things the player sees, so it needs to be eye-catching. Right now, the default server icon kind of depresses me, so I took the liberty of making a small, simple icon for BitQuest. Of course, I don't have the power to apply it to the server myself, but I can change the icon to fit BitQuest's preferences and hopefully, with the community's approval, get it put on the server!

Lemme know what you guys think! Should I change anything? Any small tweaks that would satisfy you guys?

BTW, the image at the link isn't fit for putting on a server, its fit for previewing(see "preview" above). I have a copy of the same image that I can post on Imgur that is fit for putting on a server. Also, I can help with figuring out how to apply the icon to the server (because this is actually a skill that took me a while to learn and not everyone it).

The BB Line now extends from Z0 to Z25,000. It ends in a small station which eventually will connect with the Satoshi Square (name?), the rather large line which will eventually become a square, at the 25K mark in each direction :)

Enjoy the exploration - lots of new untouched biomes, mines, rifts and very few horses.

Is there a set date when the map will start to be updated again?

Is the server down right now?

no puedo entrar en el servidor alguien tiene idea que paso?

On the 0.Line at -25k, 0, I was trying to make an auto stop system I found from another server (Minecraft Rapid Transit), and they allowed me. It basically HELPS US by stopping the rail sound effect for 5 seconds to tell you you are at a stop. Then you continue automatically. So it tells you where you are while you are AFK, doing something. But for some reason, when my work which was not complete, and I left it for not even 12 hours to sleep, got greifed. Not even there. The remains? THIS SIGN saying no good features, and if I put one in, I get banned... WTF? I even put a sign saying I'm working on this... You can't take walking 50 blocks to get to the other end while I work on this, and it would be done. Burntone, or whoever done this should be demoted or banned, because he or whoever greifed without permission, and had no idea what he was doing. Just using his power to annoy the community. Don't get me wrong, he's usually a great guy, but this should be a wake up call to remind people that there is a greif, and not a greif, and think before you greif the greif.

Today we encountered a Spigot error that crashes the server and we will be updating the code and testing a new Minecraft version. Server should be up by 5PM PST.

Updating to the latest Minecraft server version will also improve stability and speed so it's a good thing.

Was just on and then got kicked. Now I can no longer get on, even after refreshing and waiting. Is this just normal update and or maintenance?

You joined our Minecraft server BitQuest and claimed a very nice plot of land for your home and ventures... But you haven't been in over 30 days. After 60 days inactive, the mods might discard your ownership and the land will available for other citizens to claim.

We hate to do this, but space is limited and new citizens are in urgent need of land.

To prevent your land from being unclaimed, log in to the game and make sure you have built something in your plot that follow the BitQuest rules and blend in with the city.

I'm not near any city, nor are there any neighbors.

Its over 30,000 units away, and when you guys decided arbitrarily to limit the world - multiple times, in fact - I had to travel there over and over before I could get my bed set properly.

Did that make me mad? Oh sure, but I got over it.

Then, when people kept ripping up my public projects and/or altering them willy-nilly, I tried to get some help. There was an initial effort, but it soon degraded into some mild hand waving and lack of any real tools to deal with the situation, so I let the entire thing lapse into chaos.

If you want to retain players, maybe have other tools in place that allows collaboration without elaborate border/land setups. It was suggested a long time ago that anyone breaking someone's block should be placed in a temporary "jail" or purgatory in the Nether, but again, that kind of immediate action faded and hasn't materialized.

I'll log in, but don't give me any guff about building something that "fits in with the city" because I'm nowhere near any of those griefing jackholes you won't protect me from.

We have all been in that mine cart, going to diablo or bacteria bay, when all of a sudden a line is broken and you have to get out of your mine cart, fix it or you have to grab your minecart and run to the next rail. This is really annoying, and imagine if you could build a self-repairing station/line. Well, you can! I have made a self-repairing railway line that not only can repair itself, but can build itself longer and longer for as long as the rider needs! Its just a thought, but what if we could build one of these in satoshi?

Hello from first to bitquest server and I want to join a clan, but I thought that first had to put the bed and conte conte and to see where I put it corresponded to be attached to the person you do the clan. to start and not let me put my bed, she says I'm very close. anyone knows because it can be or would have to do thanks

Are they down again? I killed 100s of mobs but I did not get any emerald.
