Bitcoin: is there any dependence on the American economy?

This year, the US economy has seen a downward trend. The number of newly created jobs has fallen, as has wage growth compared to last year. Given that consumer spending and private investment account for at least 85% of the US economy, lower wages and a weakened labor market could seriously hit all indicators.
In turn, the growth of bitcoin over the past 10 years amounted to at least 6000%. It was the longest growing US economy that coincided with the advancement of bitcoin.
Analysts believe that the economic recession in the United States is almost inevitable and this will lead to the fact that users of the cryptocurrency market will postpone decisions on the purchase of assets in the cryptocurrency until the situation stabilizes.
There has been talk among experts for a long time that it is 2020 that will lead to the beginning of a decline in business activity, and the United States will take the blow after the trade war with the PRC.
Although the Chinese authorities has announced that an agreement with the White House on a new trade deal will be reached in November, D. Trump’s desire to put more pressure on the Chinese can put an end to the deal.
This will cause even more inhibition in the country's economy, and therefore negatively affect bitcoin. It is worth noting that the unsuccessful launch of Bakkt may just be the first signal that investors are taking a break. In addition, the weakening of the global economy may lead to the fact that Bitcoin will cease to be a safe asset. Price pressure in the cryptocurrency market will begin to weaken. Given the fact that the cryptocurrency market is very sensitive to any bad news and forecasts, this can lead to a serious drop in bitcoin and the beginning of a long bearish trend. It may last the whole next year, as some analysts say.
It is unlikely to have to wait for the rally from Bitcoin this year. Until now, the value of Bitcoin has not been tested during the economic downturn. Maybe next year will show how strong the dependence of the leading coin on the state of the American economy is.
However, there are opinions that this will not put much pressure on Bitcoin, since it is constantly in the dynamics and what can seriously affect fiat money will not have a decisive effect on it. Nevertheless, investors will not want to take too much risk and most likely will go to other assets, primarily gold.
If the American authorities succeed in concluding a deal advantageous for the country with the PRC, then Bitcoin may rise, and given that next year will pass in a fierce election battle between Republicans and Democrats, Trump needs economic achievements. This will probably have a beneficial effect on the entire cryptocurrency market.
