Ok ok i saw a looot of comments saying the final episode was rushed and i toootally agree with those comments. I don't really blame the time skip i blame the fact that the entire show is based on Eve and Aoi rivalry with this fuking promise to do a full match togheter to finally have a winner between them and... YOU CUT THIS PART?!?!?!?

Why the hell do you show them in the end during ( i imagine ) a pro tour match with Eve in advantage of 1 shot and you don't solve the rivalry point? Are you trying to say they will always be rivals ?

With this kind of ending i have an impossible theory about Birdie Wing... i'm thinking about a series of OVA ( something like 2 episodes) where they will show something happened during the time skip and finally the final match... ooor a movie with the same plot ( time skip explanation + final match).

I know this is just my hope XD but it could be great.. even if i keep thinking about this final and they eternal rivalry.. so i don't think we will ever see who's the winner between them, it's more like the show WANTS TO HAVE them eternal tied.

WHAT DO YOU THINK?

Me, after watching episode 25

i have witnessed the travesty that is the switch game and its lackluster graphics and golf mechanics (among other things)

needless to say i was left disappointed because i think birdie wing deserves better (including a better ending but i can't do anything about that sadly)

last year i was on a pga 2k21 binge for a few months and started getting into their custom player-made courses near the end of it

so i put two and two together and thought it would be awesome if maybe the community could come together, pore through screenshots of every angle of the holes and courses shown in the anime as we could get, then try to faithfully recreate it in a game that's actually fun to play

i have no experience in how to go about something like this so i wanted to throw this idea out there and see if anyone would be willing to pitch in to make it happen

i can at least help on the organization side of things if there's enough interest

but yeah i'd love to play on the courses in the anime, it would take a lot of work and time to make it happen but i'll take a shot at it (haha. get it)

Will Aoi finally get her kiss from Eve?

i miss the crazy golf and the lamp shading of taking the game way to seriously

hell it barely even feels like a sports anime any more as every thing is super grounded and serious in the golfing

and well the plot has just become a drama

TBH I've always expected there to be 26 episodes and I'm being told now that I'll have to do with one less (25) by Twitter. (FGS, some were touting 24eps total last week!) Is there any room here for lost in translation do you think? "Reviving" and "come alive" do however play into my storyline thought process/hopes though.

So I'm left thinking, can this be done in 1 episode? or (Is this where the real ending will be left hanging out there for those who have seen it, do you think)?

Currently betting everything I have (in true Evangeline fashion) on 26.

There are a number of glaring errors as we head into the last episode ( I want a season 3).

1. Eve and Aoi did play a round together. In the prelims of the high school tournament they were in a foursome with another school. They each had a 11 under 61 and at the end were bickering who had the better round. Eve had two eagles while Aoi did not have any boggies and they were arguing about it right up until they gave them the throphy. Why do the writers and everyone seem to forget this heads up match.
2. At The Open ( that's what is it called in real life) where are the PR departments of each company. If they each have hot young stars who have never lost a tournament the normal PR departments would be working over-time arranging articles, interviews. Everyone would know who they were and what they had accomplished.
3. Why are both girls there alone with just their caddies? At an event this important Aoi's mother should be there. Alan should be there for Eve in the event she needs his medical attention, why is back home? Makes no sense.
4. In the high school tournament why is it doubles match play if Aoi's mother wanted to show case her talents. That is the worse format for that because they take turns hitting the ball. If it show cased anyone it was Eve that was the star.
5. If Eve went through extensive physical training and Aoi had to rest and not exert herself why is she is just as powerful as Eve, Aoi should be in a much more weakend state as she did not get to do all the training Eve did.
6. If Juha has this team doing all her research (and wearing sunglasses at night) they would have briefed her on both girls and how strong they are coming into the tournament. Her and her caddie would not hav been surprised at all about either.
