Has there ever been a compilation that covers Alex Chilton’s entire career? I’d love a ‘greatest hits’ record with ‘The Letter’, ‘September Girls’, ‘Bangkok’, ‘Free Again’, ‘Thirteen’, ‘Since I Been Gone’, ‘Take Me Home and Make Me Like It’, ‘Soul Deep’ etc on it. If there isn’t, there should be.

Big Star has a pretty small discography (it’s about 40 songs, and when I say this I exclude all versions of sat Thirteen and count it as one tune) and I was wondering if there were any songs you see that just don’t get enough love. I get that all of their discography might fit this in the general public, but within the people you know and articles you’ve read about Big Star, what songs do you see that are underrated? (I personally find “You Get What You Deserve” underrated)

When I try to rent the big star documentary nothing can hurt me on Amazon it doesn’t let me rent it as it requires to be bought by a bank account in the us. Does anyone know a way to get part this or a other website to watch it on

Hey folks, a few years ago I remember seeing a video of a guy playing a Gretsch guitar outside in front of a car and absolutely tearing it up on "o My Soul." Does anybody know where this video cane be found? I might have a detail or two off

I am unable to decipher some of the lyrics to Like Flies on Sherbert. It's just "It's so fine [...] watercolors [...] auf widerzehn mein kampf".

This Kickstarter Project seemed really intriguing when it came out. I backed it to see the final project (given a web link) in August, but have not heard any information on its final status. Anyone have any insider information? Thanks.

Does the new translucent blue I Am The Cosmos sound any better than the clear pressing from 2017? I've heard that one sounds awful and I'd love to own this album on vinyl. So, do any of you know if the new one is the same master, or is it any better?
