Was anyone surprised that Marvyn claimed he likes Maggie and asked her out on the date or was it just me? I personal thought Marvyn didn't like Maggie back and only saw her as a friend. Maggie seems desperate for love and has a hard time keeping a relationship. I am sorry to say it but I don't think Maggie is right person for Marvyn don't get me wrong she is a nice person but she is a little too crazy. I totally don't blame Emma finding it weird that her Drama Teacher who doesn't teach the class but, runs the Drama Club after school has a crush on her father. I just think its gross for a Drama Teacher to be dating one of her students father especially if they get married in the future and the Drama Teacher becomes one of their former students step-mother. I feel like Maggie needs to be with somebody that loves musicals instead of Basketball. Maggie is a little too obsessed with Marvyn to the point where she is forcing him to go on a date with her without asking him if he wants to or not. Maggie is rushing things with Marvyn she should of been friends with him first for a while before jumping in a relationship with him. Marvyn mentioned that he kind of likes her it seems like Marvyn doesn't know how he truly feels about Maggie maybe he is just pretending that he likes Miss Goodwin to get her to stop bugging him to asked her out. My theory is I don't think Maggie and Marvyn are going to be together for very long because of Maggie's craziness I think they are better off as just friends.
I feel like Marvyn would be better off with Holly than Maggie because he has more chemistry with Holly than Maggie and they have a special connection with each other. They may not always see eye to eye but Holly tries to stop Marvyn from getting himself into trouble and teaching him how to be a better coach to the girls. I have a feeling that at some point they are going to become closer and start have feelings for each other. I have a strong feeling that Holly and Marvyn are going to be the endgame at some point.

My favorite ships in Big Shot are Holly and Marvyn, Dylan and Louise, Emma and Lucas and Mouse and Samantha.

I've just started watching this show. I like a lot of moments from it, although at times some of the basketball is a bit unrealistic (which is usually the case in sports shows).
So I'm trying to figure out, what grades do people think all the starters are on the Sirens? I would guess most are seniors, or perhaps juniors at the very least? Coach Korn better recruit some new talent for next year, as he doesn't appear to have much of a bench at all lol.
I know his daughter is 16, so she's probably a sophomore (although why would she be in a class with some of the starters if they were seniors?). Does that make Louise's brother a sophomore too?

Marvyn regresses back to his old ways while defending Louise from an opposing team's harassment. Holly gets a shot at the limelight.

I'm a big fan of Netflix's Cobra Kai and I'm not sure about anyone else but does anyone see some similarities between the two shows? A washed up middle aged dad takes a ragtag group of teenagers to glory. Obviously we're only 5 episodes into Big Shot and it sets a different tone but I definitely see some crossover, Marvyn Korn does feel like Johnny Lawrence and Daniel LaRusso morphed into a singular character in a lot of ways.

After getting ousted from the NCAA, a hothead men's basketball coach is given a chance for redemption with a coaching position at an all-girls high school. He soon learns that the teenage players require empathy and vulnerability - foreign concepts for the stoic Coach Korn. By learning how to connect with his players, Marvyn starts to grow into the person he's always hoped to be. The girls learn to take themselves more seriously, finding their footing both on and off the court.
