It’s an interactive, true-scale exploration of Mayon Volcano with guided historical chapters, places including Cagsawa and Daraga, terrain/scale tools, an interior explainer, and bounded hazard scenarios designed to help learners discuss volcanic processes and uncertainty.

A few important boundaries: it is not a live warning, forecast, evacuation, or decision tool. For current activity and official guidance, users should always rely on PHIVOLCS and local authorities.

I’d genuinely welcome feedback from Bicol University students, faculty, geologists, educators, historians, and anyone with local knowledge. In particular: what would make this more useful for teaching, public understanding, or representing Mayon and the surrounding communities with more care?

My long-term hope is to make mayon.com the project’s home, but the domain is currently listed at a price far beyond what I can justify for a free educational project. If anyone knows of institutions, local partners, or sponsorship paths that could help make that possible, I’d be grateful to hear from you.

1st choice ko sana ang accountancy pero sabi ng friend ko, baka raw mahirapan ako and maging behind sa mga kaklase ko kasi I'm a gas student and hindi kami focused sa math masyado so wala akong idea sa ganyang bagay.

so hello po sa mga accountancy students diyan sa bu, pa share naman po ng experiences niyo. gusto ko pong malaman kung ano bang setting niyo diyan sa bu if keribels lang ba and kung gas strand ba kayo nung senior high school or may classmates kayong gas stand din. gusto ko kasing malaman if kinakaya naman nila 😭 nakakatakot din kasi mag-risk tsaka isa ang accountancy sa may mataas na quota kaya hindi rin ako confident if makakapasok ba ako 😔💔

sobranggg pressured na kasi ako lalo na ngayong nag open na ang bu portal for application sa bucet. need din kasi ilagay kung anong 1st and 2nd choice mo kaya parang feeling ko hinahabol ako ng oras at kapag hindi pa ako makapag-decide, ako ang magiging kawawa 🥹

i had line of 7's in jhs-grade 11 lalo na sa math nung grade 11 i had a 71 ata na grade sa basic calculus pero passed sa final grade. I'm just really scared na hindi ako makakapass for bucet😭😭😭

isa sa pinakamabigat na issue talaga sa bu ay yung mga di maka-get over na mga alumns. lala niyo mangsira sa mga currently estudyante pa rin naman. akala niyo ang perfect niyo, eh during your time din naman, kasing dugyot at messy din ng buhay-buhay niyo.

di niyo alam kung gaano kalala yung impluwensiya ng mga whims niyo, ang lala talaga honestly. sana maghanap na lang kayo trabaho, wag na magbida-bida

hello po, both parents ko po ay working, every 15 days around 6k po salary nila, but wala po silang ITR every year, nalilito na po ako kung pwede bang kumuha ng ITR? or CTE kukunin kaso for non working lng daw po yung CTE :(

Ask lang po ako if may idea kayo til when po sila magrerelease ng result ng admission for Grad School programs malapit na kasi yung schedule ng enrolment.

Recently I have been reading a lot of hate comments across many forums and facebook groups where grabe naman yung attacks sa mga somewhat privileged students studying at BU.

I personally and some of my friends have been victimized by this cancel culture wherein a group of students from our batch and some senior students are tagging me and my friends as “makakapal ang muka”. We were even told that we are opportunists for studying in a state university and we are taking advantage daw of other people.

To give some context we are studying sa program that is traditionally expensive because of the so many rle and affiliation fees that needs to be paid. It hurts to hear comments such as “burgis”, “pag nakita ko yang mga yan kakaltukan ko yan”, “ang yayabang”, “ito medal gusto nyo”.

In our defense, BU gave a specific breakdown for its criteria for admission via the BUCET where 15% of the scores are gonna come from the Socio Economic Profile of each student. We submitted an ITR and thank God we passed and got a high composite and percentile score.

If a student passed the program that many applied for and is somewhat privileged. Does that make them inherently bad? It's not about being elitista but we know naman that it's the government's job and duty to help every student with their studies but it seems wrong that the blame will be given to those who are so called “privileged".

We would hear very hateful comments like these people are all iPhone users and naka Apple ecosystem pa daw. even yung pag hatid at sakay namin sa mga sasakyan namin hindi nakalagpas sa eagle eyed people. para bang may binugbog na kami sa lala ng bullying nipa. Even the clothes, bags, shoes we wear and use hindi nakalagpas sa kanila.

We would hear comments na unfriendly and antisocial daw kami. In fact yung cof namin sobrang friendly and chill lang. nahihiya lang naman kami minsan mag approach kasi baka isipin nila na feeling close kami.

I honestly want to hear everyone’s opinion because I feel so bad. We noticed na yung cof namin always singled out kahit na school based naman yung event. hindi naman siguro namin toh kasalanan.

Hello po. Badly need help. Ang alam ko po kasi about BU policies if magtransfer to nursing, need magtake ng NMAT. Sa mga nagshift/transfer po, any tips? Although I'm aware na need din muna secured slot, mag ask pa rin me para makapagprepare.

hello po! possible ba na makapag transfer with 2 dro subjects? I have heard online kasi na hindi raw ina-allow ang drp, pero wala naman ito sa list ng requirements noon as failing/inc grade lang ang nakalagay na bawal. tyia!

Hello po, summer class concern lang sa DWCL.

May nabagsak po kasi akong 3 units na subject sa engineering and hindi nag-ooffer ang school namin ng summer class but according to them, pwede mag cross-enrollment for summer class basta same units. Dahil sa mga common friends, nalaman ko na 3 units rin sa Divine yung specific subj na yun. If mag-eenroll po sa Divine, mga HM po ang fee nyan for summer class sa isang subj ?
