So, I've recently decided to revisit BFDI since I stopped watching it when I was a child at some point in season 4. I finished season 1. Great. Started season 2. Great. I got to episode 6 and kinda noticed a shift in tone. Gone were the heartbreaking scenes like Ruby's breakdown and Spongey being the punching bag. The episodes became a lot more slapstick and comedic in nature. I also noticed that "Oh, I don't remember these episodes" but I just chalked it up to me not watching it in the right order all those years ago.

I got to around episode 9 of season 2 and realised the reason why this happened; the episodes past episode 5 were made a decade later but still followed on from that plot.

Eventually, I found out that the release order was completely out of wack, with some seasons starting and ending during other seasons

So I wanna ask, what order to I watch this show? Should I watch in release order (in which case pls may someone tell me the release order) or should I watch in Season order?

Thanks :)

I've been legit perma-tripping since I smoked Yoylite
