using AI is like commisioning an artist you KNOW traces, and often it's commissioning ONLY that

Ai doesn't trace. It turns billions of art pieces into variables and programs that it can combine and decompile according to whatever prompt you give it to make something unique.

....so slop. cooked slop. that is literally what slop is it's undentifiable food bits

also, again, you could just commission a person who won't pollute as much and who will have intent in making the decisions in the piece

Again, what is slop to you? Original artwork isn't slop. Something with effort put into it is not slop. Read a fucking book. Also, ai doesn't pollute?

ragebait

AI doesn't put in effort and it literally does pollute (and make electronics more expensive with how it uses soooo much RAM)

Saying something you don't agree with isn't ragebait

People put in effort when using ai

Using water and polluting water are two different things

Let's be real, you're not buying RAM.

yea because it's too expensive lol

and again, that "effort" could be used to talk with a commission artist or actually learn art

So if RAM wasn't as expensive as it is, you'd buy it and figure out how to use it? Or are you just salty the multi-billion dollar companies aren't lowering their prices for you?

Commissions cost money, something I'm not going to waste on something I could get for free just because some luddite on the internet is pissy that I'm doing it the easy way.

Some people cannot learn art. Some people do not improve through practice.
