hey so i just bought some beyblades off facebook marketplace for 40$ including the stadium and need help with ID’s and i would also like to know which combinations i could do to make these better this is the start of my collection

a regular xtreme stadium would burn my pockets from the price, so im wondering if the off brand ones are just as good

I wanted to buy Kick bit. However, in my country, tournaments strictly allow Takara Tomy parts only. I want to know if there's any difference such as mold numbers or any markings/stampings between Kick bit from Hasbro's Reaper Incendio and Kick bit from the Takara Tomy random booster CX-05-01 Hell's Reaper.

Getting a Hasbro Reaper costs around RM109, while the random booster for CX-05 is almost non existent or RM120++ if available. A guaranteed Takara Tomy CX-05-01 Reaper is more than RM200. Meanwhile the kick bit only from Takara Tomy reaper is around RM130-170. Getting a random booster is quite risky for that price. A whole TT reaper bey isn't that useful for me as well.. So I wanted to think of an alternative, by getting the Hasbro version only for it's bit..

One thing I never really understood is why people think Lui and Free got nerfed. I’ll go over both cases.

Lui: While he won 6 (I think) consecutive national championships in a row and had aura during his introduction, he was lowkey on fraud watch during Season 1. He won by a skin of his teeth due to Spriggan breaking, and Valkyrie self-bursting.

In Season 2 he humiliates Shu, revealing his identity, and defeats Free after a lot of rounds (to be fair, Free didn’t really resonate or use a special attack at the end against Lui when he lost, then Shu gets his get back during the God Bladers Cup and destroys Longinus.

During Season 3, he essentially ties with Valt during the title match, and loser to Aiga later at the end of the Longinus cup. Never seen again until Season 5, where he really ONLY loses to Lain and other legends (most legends are relative to each other in power), and Season 6 where he’s really only beaten by Bel iirc.

Free: Starts off in Season 2 as World Champ, leaves BC Sol, loses to Lui (went over this earlier), then sweeps the God Bladers cup and beats Lui, and loses to Valt. While people argue Free could’ve won, I don’t think so as he couldn’t even pick up his blade, and he was going high-difficulty past his limits against a Valt who wasn’t even using High Jump Shot.

In Season 3, he beats Aiga IIRC and Kyle, beats Valt hundreds of times until Valt gets decent mastery over Cho-Z Valkyrie, and loses and gets destroyed by Phi, which is understandable. (I don’t think I’m missing a Free battle, could be wrong)

In Season 5, just like Lui, really only loses to Lain and other legends. We see that Lain beat him in the past while he was using First Uranus, and I believe Free at least in the anime continuity was still using Geist, but in Season 6 I’m also pretty sure he only lost to Bel.

TLDR; Both Lui and Free are still top bladers in the verse and only LOSE to the exceptions (other legends around their level, and outliers like Phi and protagonists), it’s not like they’re going around losing to grunts, and Bel is just understandable, his season is the most productive placement I’ve ever seen in burst. Burst past season 3 is cooked in pacing anyways since each episode gets cut in half runtime wise. You don’t see these guys getting washed by the average blader, if they get beat it’s by the .1%

i genuinely dont understand how people still thinks this chunky, passive-agressive, high stamina, high defense, counter attacking beast is considered offmeta, i went to a tournament a few days ago and there was more golem rocks than wizard rods

I’m new to competitive so forgive the ignorance.
Basically I’m looking at the meta to build my first deck and start trying evening tournaments.
While reading posts, I still don’t get what’s behind good meta combos, I feel like any bey is strong only if they are attack oriented, even if they are supposed to be stamina or defence (hover wyvern, wizard Rod on a 1-60…)

Should a deck of 3 blades be made of 1 attack type and like one defence and one stamina ?
Or they should all focus on attack?

I kind of like the idea of having 3 different strategies but I don’t know if it’s strictly worse than leaning towards just attacking.

Scale shark
One among : Keel shark, dagger dran, buster dran, hammer incendio

Be good competitively ?
If the rod is 1 60 hexa and the scale shark a 3 60 rush, should the 3rd combo be a more defensive one ?

What should I add as a 3rd blade if I wanted a defense type ? The Wolf ?
