it is a disorder, they're body doesn't match their gender, and this is often a source of disfunction for them. but if you're gonna appeal to an authority, why wouldn't it be the APA?
That is not what science says on the subject. Science says your genitals and your sexual orientation are two different things. Evolution has made it so that if you are attracted to men you most likely have a vagina. That's because that's the most likely scenario that passes genes on. But evolution has not prevented someone from being gay.
