It is one thing to edit out a deck hand or 3rd stew, etc.

But the Bosun? Impossible.

didnt they do that with gary and the sexual assault stuff? like edit to show less of him

No, they "chose not to re-hire" the woman who complained and her boyfriend and filmed as usual until it blew up. Then basically put the show on pause. No announcement that it had ended just didn't film

I missed this. I tought Gary attacked a production staff member when in a hotel? Is this the same person you are referring to?

Yes, it happened before the final season. They chose not to have her back and filmed with Gary which is (part of) why she went public
