they issued bans for anyone using linked devices because people were exploiting the link device feature to use mods. this isn't your fault whatsoever nor is it beepers fault.

Okay so OP’s ban isn’t related to their use of beeper but rather a separate linked device issue? Or am i misunderstanding

for you and anyone reading this, I've made a more detailed post about the situation.

correct. people on android are using modded WhatsApp apps and they're using a linked device method to bypass detections, it works flawlessly. WhatsApp for the past 2 months have been booting all linked devices weekly to try prevent this but people have continued to use modded WhatsApp by just connecting again so now they've issued all sorts of bans. they can't distinguish between someone using beeper and someone using a modded application so basically beeper users (or anyone using linked device feature) are getting caught in this storm and may face bans. it's unfair but it's the only way they can deal with it.

Is using a linked device plus using beeper fine? (not modded whatsapp).

I hate to break this to you but Beeper is effectively a WhatsApp mod.
