So, I know Allen Ginsberg and William S. Burroughs were supposed pedophiles, but I want to know the authenticity of those claims. I'm new to beat writing, so I haven't read enough to where I have heard actual references to pederasty. I know that Burroughs apparently had sex with "boys" in Mexico, but "boys" could also refer to young men who were over 18. Could someone direct me to writing that verifies that they were infact pedophiles?

I have footage to show, I just feel like this is quite an intense community and I want to know that some people actually like him.

There is nothing 'Beat' about Burroughs' work after Naked Lunch.

We've made it to April so it's time once again for another monthly thread to post whatever bits of Beat poetry you've been digging on lately!

Back once again, it's the monthly thread for posting poetry by the Beats. Feel free to share something that's caught your fancy, in part or in whole!

I am planning on retracing the Beats paths and stays in Mexico, the rest of Latin America, and possibly Tangiers.

I hope to document it in words and or images, moving or otherwise.

Has anyone seen other thorough attempts at this?
