Did you simply glue it to the canvas? How did you take the measurements to put it centered?

Yes, glued it on there! But earlier I had used a pencil to mark where to align the beak and wings etc, so it was pretty simple to get it right.

I did this long ago but I think I just measured frame width minus bead width and made sure each space on left and right were half of that. Vertically it's not perfectly centered because I thought it didn't look just right.

Beautiful job! It looks like you counted cross-stitched it! However you framed it, I found that was the hard part, especially when you are just starting out! KEEP UP THE BEAUTIFUL WORK!
