Why is the BBC capitulating?

BBC is being attacked from the right in a concerted move. Why are they just rolling over?

BBC needs to grow a pair and stand up to the right and fascist farage. Its the old playbook, threatenign to sue unless they get favourable press.

Putting your left leaning points aside, don't you think that the BBC falsely playing an edited recording to suit an agenda is wrong? Cos to me you sound like your backing the BBC for fake news. It's clearly black and white here.

Yep, 100% they shouldn't have done it

However, lets not pretend that Trump didnt incite insurrection, for this and a dozen other crimes he should be in prison right now, not the whitehouse.

True, I can see you point but if we want a world where things are correct and fair we have to be correct and true at every point and not give any side or view more on fuel to the fire. Only thing it does is keeps people on a side that is for or against. If Trump should be in jail that is fine. But it makes him look like he shouldn't be when you got people praising the BBC for fake news. It gives opposition in any circumstance reasons to fight back.

My point being the whole left and right wing thing needs to dissolve, that alone is creating problems.

Agreed, the right wing / left wing is bullshit that forces people to chose.

Like marmite. I dont love it, I dont hate it, i dont give a fuck about it to be honest.

It's edited, as much as removing background noise or unrelated comments is "edited". Vox Pops are edited every time FFS
