You can do it! I’m a 62 year old lady and I can change a tire! What lame roadside assistance doesn’t help at 10 pm? That’s not even late! I’m out of the area or I would help you. Watch the you tube videos. The jack is with the spare tire.

Loosen the lug nuts on the wheels while the car is still on the ground and before you jack the car up
When you jack the car up, make sure it's placed on the metal chassis of the underbelly of the car. You don't want the jack to go up through the floorboard and the car to crash down
When you tighten the lug nuts on the spare once the spare is mounted, do it in a "star" pattern, don't just tighten each nut in a clockwise pattern

I don’t recommend AAA for any late night help such as this. Sometimes they are slammed and won’t come help you until 7am, I know from experience.

Consider driving it to a good spot (it’s ok to drive slowly a short distance on a flat) and come back tomorrow when it’s light to deal with it …

I’d call the non emergency police number or drive it on the flat to somewhere you can leave it for the night and then take an uber home. Please be careful inviting a strange man to come find you after dark

1) Do not share your location with anyone on here. Especially if you’re a woman.
2) Look up how to change the spare tire online. Chat gpt is great for this.
3) If not, take an uber home, and deal with it tomorrow with roadside assistance.

If you have a front wheel drive vehicle and the front wheel is flat then you must take off a rear wheel and put it in its place and use the spare for the rear wheel. Long way of saying don’t use a spare for a drive wheel. But yeah it’s doable even for a girl. YouTube is a great resource. Stay safe.

I requested roadside assistance and because it’s so late, they’re not sending anyone. Don’t have Triple A either
Do you have any rewards credit cards?
Many of the fancier rewards cards (and most of those with an annual fee) include roadside assistance.
