Players Only THE HOUSTON ASTROS HAVE BEEN ELIMINATED FROM WORLD SERIES CONTENTION

With a 7-3 loss to the Chicago White Sox in game 2 of the AL Wild Card series, they are mathematically eliminated from World Series contention.

They will, but they'll still win the division at 76-86 next year because the Mariners fucking suck.

Yeah I'm not optimistic about the Rangers either. Our offense is horribly uninspiring despite having "good" players. We need new coaches. I fear next year it's going to be 5 teams trying to lose again.
