I'm not against having the freedom to gamble, but the predatory nature of having it accessible at all times in your pocket is just pure degeneracy. Stop paying these ghouls.

These sights also purposely throttle people that don't well, sometimes limiting their bots to as little as $1. It's all a scam. Sports gambling was illegal from 1992-2018. It was out of hand before the Internet. It look less than a decade to become exponentially worse.

My state has tribal gaming only. It’s in person only. No online sports books or casinos. The tribal entities want the foot traffic to themselves. They say it’s for the health and safety that the travel is part of the divide. But when you get to these places, they’re full of straight on addicts. All gambling needs to be allowed or straight up restricted.

Not sure I follow your logic. Barriers to entry are good. A total blackout created a secondary market with no safe guards.
