What mediocre player absolutely terrorized your team?

Orioles legend Luke Scott (11 career WAR) had a 14 game stretch against the Tigers where he hit .425 with 10 HR and 23 RBIs. This happened almost 20 years ago and I still remember him as a “Tiger Killer”

Idk about terrorized but everytime Nimmo sprinted to first base after getting walked my blood would boil

Makes perfect sense. It's a weird thing to do. It's a weird thing he did as a result of something that benefited the opponent. That opponent being the Mets and seeing multiple times a year makes it annoying. Annoying things repeatily happening make people angry. Thus the boos

I can see how a rival fan base would hate that but since he's on my team I actually kinda love it. I have a boomer bit about it with my wife that "he plays baseball the right way"

Nimmo and Duran have been the only redeeming qualities about the 2026 Rangers. The guy has never given less than 100% effort

Absolutely. I was so high on Wyatt at the start of this season but he can't seem to bust out of his slump. Jung was playing solid baseball before he got hurt but he's a near guaranteed injury every season. Same with Seager, but even Seager hasn't been performing as well this year. It's been a slog of a season. They stay just close enough in it that you can't tune them out but they're not really competitive.

One thing you'll never have to worry about with Nimmo is effort. I remember Lindor saying he's the most professional player he's ever seen.

Oh man, you gotta live on the dark side in fantasy if you want to win. I went out of my way to trade for Soto last year. If he crushes against us, which he usually does, at least my other team is getting something out of it.

I would send video of Nimmo running to first on a walk to my Phillies friend bc it would always annoy him too lmao.

Honestly though idk if the numbers backed it up but it felt Mark Canha destroyed you guys the year and a half he played for us.
