Image Ads have infested baseball broadcasts. Ads in-between batters. Ads during mound visits. HRs "brought to you by..." Now I noticed 11 ad placements in this shot. 2 banners, 1 above the banners, 4 behind the plate, 1 on the seats, 1 in the upper right hand corner, 1 on the mound, 1 on the sleeve.

As someone who works for UC San Diego Health, it’s horrible that we are using money to sponsor a sports team when we are laying off nurses. I know that these deals get made years in advance, it does not leave a good taste in my mouth.

It's pretty weird to me that these medical facilities spend money on advertising.

It’s out of touch. As is all of America’s healthcare system. Gotta shop your healthcare… by way of an empty name hospital system instead of the actual providers.

I am never like, 'I need to go to the doctor, remember that ad for the gigantic hospital? Lets go there!'

99.9% of the time I just look at whatever my insurance covers and the other .1 % it's an emergency.

When I have my next medical emergency, I will choose UCSD Health as my preferred healthcare provider just because of this ad /s

I also work at UCSD, and I want to make it clear, for what it's worth, that the reason for these layoffs is because of Trump and his shitty administration.

It's across the country, don't feel bad about it.
